Plus Liberty of London is popping into Nordstrom and Acne Studios has snagged the latest K-Pop superstars.
This week is a big one for 10 Magazine. If you haven’t noticed, we’re announcing all of the covers for our latest issue, with more surprises to come next week. In the meantime, the world marches on and while we’re excited to share what we’ve been working hard on, there might be a few other bits you’ve missed in the fashion world. One related item of note: Bottega Veneta is offering free issues of their fanzine at the brand’s store as well as select bookstores — the ideal tome to stack with a copy of our magazine on your coffee table. Should that not be of interest, Nike and Comme des Garçons are dropping their latest sneaker collaboration this week, Acne Studios is featuring the next K-Pop superstars, and Gucci’s latest ad has your new internet boyfriend.
Check out all of that plus what else you might have missed this week.
Bottega Veneta’s Newest Free Fanzine is Now in Stores
There’s pretty much nothing you can get for free in a Bottega Veneta store, at least most of the time. But starting last week, there’s actually something you can pick up, no charge. The brand’s latest limited-edition has hit stores as well as in select bookstores. The four books highlight the creative process behind Matthieu Blazy’s spring/summer 2024 collection, which is based on the idea of journeys. You’ll find photos by Alec Soth, behind-the-scenes images, sketches, stickers, and a travel notebook. All volumes are enclosed in a printed slipcase which features the same illustrated map as seen at the show. Didn’t get a chance to grab one? Should you be in Tokyo the brand is hosting an exhibition by Soth at Seeen in Shibuya. Called Tokyo Playtime, you’ll see images from the Bottega Veneta campaign as well as other images from Japan that Soth has shot throughout his career.
Acne Studios Taps Illit For Their Spring Campaign
Here’s how you know K-pop is dominating the fashion industry — a girl group that hasn’t even released their first song has already snagged an ad campaign. Acne Studios has just named ILLIT as the face of their spring 2024 collection. The quintet, consisting of Yunah, Minju, Moka, Wonhee, and Iroha are the winners of R U Next?, a survival show, and are set to release their first mini album on March 25th. Given that they’re signed under HYBE, the same operation that gave us New Jeans, expect them to be omnipresent in the next year. It’s smart then that Acne Studios not only offered them a front row spot at their latest show but also tapped them to represent the brand.
Nike x Comme des Garçons Homme Latest Sneakers Have Dropped
Back in June of 2023, during the Comme des Garçons Plus show the brand showed their latest collaboration with Nike. Called the ACG Mountain Fly 2 Low SP, the trail-inspired sneaker is a minimalist sneaker lover’s dream. Chunky and available in black, white, or two-tone black and white, it finally drops today at Dover Street Market and Comme des Garçons stores and e-commerce globally (with the exception of Japan). And if you’re a woman with smaller feet, you’re in luck — the sizing runs from US men’s 5 to 13 or a US women’s 6.5 to 14.5. The bigger question is, are you able to grab it in time before it sells out? Should you not find yourself with a pair today, the styles will also launch at other retail partners later this month.
Cartier Launches Coussin de Cartier
Last week saw Cartier releasing their Libre Polymorph collection, a series of limited edition pieces inspired by nature and designed to move. Should those not be your speed, perhaps their latest addition is. The brand’s Coussin de Cartier watch was first introduced in 2022 and now they’ve announced a new collection. Taking the savoir-faire from the world of jewelry making, the new bracelet and ring retain the same unique design. Made from a rounded-square structure of woven gold links and paved with diamonds or precious stones, the baubles (like the timepiece before them) are meant to respond to the touch and rebound beneath the skin. The woven mesh structure is dazzling to behold and certain to be a very special acquisition for any jewelry collector.
Gucci’s Latest Face is Kingsley Ben-Adair
How do you transform a classic like the Gucci 1953 Horsebit loafer and make it thirst-worthy? If you’re Sabato de Sarno you find the internet’s favorite boyfriends and make them the face of the shoe. First it was Paul Mescal, clad in jeans, socks, and finished off with the loafers. And now, the latest face to join the bunch is British actor Kingsley Ben-Adir. You might have seen him as Malcom X in One Night in Miami or as one of the Kens in Barbie and now he stars as Bob Marley in the biopic Bob Marley: One Love. Like Mescal, it’s a pared back portrait that reflects the timelessness of the piece. Photographed by Heji Shin, Ben-Adir lounges on couches and chairs, wearing basics like denim and shirting, it’s equal parts casual and seductive.

Everlane and Marques Almeida are Collaborating
Despite being in business for over a decade, growing up and having children, the duo behind Marques Almeida still know what the cool kids in London want whether it’s unique takes on jeans or patterned silk pieces. And it’s for that reason Everlane has partnered with them for the direct-to-commerce brand’s first ever designer collaboration. Launching on March 24, the pieces reflect the best of both worlds as the duo used surplus fabrics to create their own riffs on Everlane’s best-selling classic styles. From patchwork denim pieces to tie-dye dresses and exaggerated knits, the line is both gentle on the environment while eye-catching enough to make a statement. “When thinking about how to meaningfully use our leftover fabrics while celebrating our hero pieces in an unexpected way, we thought that a collaboration with designers who can bring a new perspective to our classic designs would be a really inspiring solution,” said Everlane’s chief creative officer Mathilde Mader via press release. Shopbop Turns 25
Quarter-life crisis? Not for Shopbop. The retailer celebrates 25 years this month and to commemorate the milestone they’re rolling out a series of ads and events. First off is a 25 Years of Style Moments campaign which highlights all the major and minor moments that call for good clothes whether it’s a dream vacation, wedding season, or simply day to day wardrobes. Featuring a mix of denim, swim and beachwear, party dresses, and tailoring it’s a reminder of how long the brand has been a part of their customer’s life. Beyond these ads, they’re also planning a year filled with drops from fan favorite brands, in-person pop-up shops, and more that have yet to be announced.
Celine Names New Jeans’ Danielle as Ambassador
Another next gen K-Pop group currently dominating the scene? New Jeans. It’s not a surprise then that luxury brands have already snapped the quintet up for deals. Danielle, one of the members, was formerly signed with Burberry but this week Celine announced that she’ll become one of their new global ambassadors. The French label has a knack for choosing idols that suit their image — after all they also signed Lisa from Blackpink. Given the devotion Bunnies (that’s the name given to New Jeans fans0 have for the group, it’s for certain that level will also translate to Celine sales. It’ll be interesting to see what Danielle does with the brand as plenty of eyes will be on them both.
Set Sail With Louis Vuitton
Even if the closest you’ll get to sailing is going on a sunset boat ride while on vacation, just in time for those warm weather excursions, Louis Vuitton has released a nautical capsule. Showcasing a selection of women’s ready-to-wear, leather goods, accessories, and jewelry, naturally there are plenty of neutral shades of navy and white as well as stripes and marine-inspired bags. You’ll find casual tailoring in the form of slouchy trousers, a double-breasted blazer, or shorts. Worn with a bustier or crisp shirting, it’s warm weather dressing at its youthful, preppy best. On the bag side you’ll see red accents, whether in the Coussin BB or the Noé bucket style. The Go-14 bag, which has been the big bag of 2023, is back with the navy version featuring mignons, small knots in white embroidery that add texture to the leather. Another classic style, the Twist, gets its own twist in the form of a nautical-style chain strap while the Capucines Mini is covered in stripe sequins. For those who want something more whimsical, there’s also a miniature bag in the shape of a lighthouse. Shop the entire collection here.
