Hugo Partners Up With Streetwear Label Les Benjamins
You may not think of Istanbul and streetwear in the same sentence but Les Benjamins has been slowly amassing a following over the last 13 years for their Turkish-infused aesthetic. And now they’ve partnered up with HUGO, the younger off-shoot of Hugo Boss. The 18 piece collection for men, women, and gender-neutral offers varsity jackets, graphic tees, sweatshirts, skirts, blazers, and more, with two gender-neutral pieces consisting of a black trench and bucket hat. A swan appears throughout the outfits, serving as a symbol of togetherness, trust, and unity between Turkey and Germany. There’s also a key motif as a nod to the children of Gastarbeiter who wore them around their necks. It’s a “blend of histories,” says Marco Falcioni, SVP of Creative Direction of HUGO BOSS.
