COS Returns to New York Fashion Week

After jaunting off to Rome last spring, COS is making another appearance at New York Fashion Week this September. It’s the brand’s third time showing in NYC, a place that Karin Gustafsson, COS’ Designer Director, finds especially inspiring. The location has yet to be announced but mark your calendars for September 10th, 1PM, when it’ll stream live on their site.

A Collection That Perfectly Melds English and Italian Sensibilities

What do you get when a British brand known for its luxury goods decides to partner up with an Italian brand known for their elegant yet approachable design? That would be the Mulberry x Eleventy collection. The collaboration includes everything from blazers and sweatshirts to shoes to bags. As a nod to both brands, you’ll see sleek leather panels as well as Eleventy’s signature gray flannel. The collection includes reimagined archival pieces like Mulberry’s Heritage Piccadilly as well as new takes on the Chiltern backpack and Belgrave messenger. As a testament to the British brand’s commitment to sustainability and their Made to Last ethos, all of the leather is carbon-neutral. Find them worldwide at Mulberry and Eleventy stores, Harrods, and online.

Loro Piana Goes to Scotland

Despite being an Italian brand, Loro Piana holds another place close to their heart: Scotland. The country is best known for their Cheviot, a type of woolen fabric, but it also served as the location where the brand learned of the importance of the thistle flower, also known as the fiore de cardo. Since 1951 an image of the plant has been incorporated into the house’s coat of arms, so it only makes sense to head back for their fall campaign. Shot by Mario Sorrenti, the sweeping images showcase what the brand is known best for like lush cashmeres and wools including their signature Sopra Visso and Pecora Nera textiles. With a cast that include the likes of Bibi Breslin, Anok Yai, and Woosang Kim, the models depict a reunion that goes from castle interior into the lush wilderness that surrounds it.

Gentle Monster’s Newest Designer Collab is Mugler

Following their runaway success working with Maison Margiela and Blackpink’s Jennie comes Gentle Monster’s latest designer collaboration: Mugler. Combining Mugler’s iconic spirals with the Korean brand’s knack for immersive installations, the collection features two styles. Spiral 01, inspired by Mugler’s Fourmis eyewear from 1997, has geometric designs while Spiral 02 has embossed details and shiny chrome logos. Shot by Theo Liu, and starring Colin Jones and Georgia Palmer, the campaign pays tribute to legends such as Helmut Newton and Manfred Thierry Mugler. The collection, launched yesterday both online and in-store but like all Gentle Monster collections, there will be special activations in Seoul and Shanghai. Not in those cities? Don’t worry you’ll see them all over social media too.

Fendi’s Fall Ads are a Throwback

Tailored wool coats, silk knitwear, and utilitarian dresses make this collection a playful yet luxurious celebration of self-expression, featuring everything from sleek leather finishes to the iconic Selleria motif.
