Plus Burberry takes over Bloomingdale’s, Gabriela Hearst’s concert for civil rights, and more.
November’s first week brings in a mish-mash of fashion news, with a timely pop culture bent. First up is Calvin Klein, releasing a series of Rosalia photos just in time for her latest album, Lux, to drop. Also in the same vein comes Bottega Veneta, who has their own series of photos and a short film starring brand ambassador Jacob Elordi, right as his movie Frankenstein hits Netflix. And speaking of movies, you’re probably noticing that all of your streaming services are filled with holiday-themed ones like Love Actually. With those vibes in mind comes Burberry’s festive ad campaign, which feels like a 2025 update on everyone’s favorite flick. And in the vein of the merriest season of them all is Gap’s campaign, which stars up-and-coming singer Sienna Spiro in a musical remake that stirs up plenty of millennial nostalgia.
Read on to learn more and catch up on what else you might have missed.
Knock, Knock! Burberry’s Festive Campaign is Here
Name your favorite holiday movie. Was it Love Actually? If so, you’ll love Burberry’s festive campaign, which finds the cast at a London townhouse, ready to celebrate the season. With the likes of Jennifer Saunders, Naomi Campbell Ncuti Gatwa, Son Heung-min, and Rosie Huntington-Whitley, the images capture a hectic yet fun day of party preparations. There’s canapes, pudding costumes, and dogs in cute outfits culminating in an impromptu doorstep performance of We Wish You a Merry Christmas. To accompany, Burberry’s going all in on the Christmas spirit with a takeover at Bloomingdale’s New York City flagship. As of this week there will be a pop-up space that’s meant to resemble a cozy British cottage and will include a selection of gifting items. In addition you’ll find an exclusive capsule collection with a red colorway of the brand’s signature check as well as other favorites like trench coats, cashmere scarves, and fragrance. Not in NYC? Don’t worry, you can also find these pieces online and at select stores nationwide.
Dior Lady Art Celebrates 10 Years
A decade ago Dior launched their Dior Lady Art initiative, which invites artists to reinvent the iconic bag, highlighting the brand’s ateliers’ savoir faire. Now, in honor of this big milestone, they’re celebrating with a multimedia approach. First up is a monograph published by Rizzoli titled Dior Lady Art: The Lady Dior Reinvented by 99 Artists, which offers an in-depth look at the history of the project. For those who prefer to listen to their deep dive, you’ll also find a special season of the Dior Talks podcast dedicated to Dior Lady Art #10. And of course, what is a Dior Lady Art launch without some new bags? For their tenth anniversary you’ll find special pieces from the likes of Jessica Cannon, Patrick Eugène, Eva Joseph, Ju Ting, Lakwena, Lee Ufan, Sophia Loeb, Inès Longevial, Marc Quinn, and Alymamah Rashed. The creations will be released in waves, with the official launch on November 13th.
Edgar Ramirez is So Armani Coded
Last January Giorgio Armani launched their So Armani project, a campaign which serves to highlight creatives and their interpretations of the brand’s signature styles. Featuring the likes of Kaytranada, Soojoo Park, and more, these talents are about to be joined by a new crop of stars. The latest iteration, photographed by Gorka Postigo highlights five names from diverse backgrounds. You might have caught singer and producer Bakar in the photos last June while British singer-songwriter Maisie Peters was revealed as the next model. Joining them this week is actor Edgar Ramirez best known for his work in Emilia Pérez and The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story. Clad in sleek basics, the simple and elegant outfits offer a peek at the collection which features staples made from cashmere, vicuña, and wool. Joining Ramirez later this year will be actor Francesca Hayward and artist Rocco Ritchie, with more to come in 2026.
Jacob Elordi Will Make Your Bottega Veneta Dreams Come True
This is a good week for Jacob Elordi fans. Not only does the actor star in Netflix’s Frankenstein, which released today, but earlier in the week Bottega Veneta dropped “What are Dreams” a multimedia series starring the actor, shot by Duane Michals. You’ll find black-and-white images set in Michals’ home that reference the photographer’s affinity with Surrealism. Consisting of 12 photos, you’ll find Elordi posing with a convex mirror, billowing curtains, and other elements which bring to mind the work of Giorgio de Chirico and Réné Magritte. To accompany, a short film consists of Elordi reading the poem from which this series gets its name from, What are Dreams, which first appeared in the Michals’ 2001 photo book Questions without Answers. Meant to evoke “midnight movies of the mind…where things look familiar, but not at all the same”, it’s a fitting companion to Elordi’s latest project.
Add a Touch of LV to Your Wardrobe
Workwear has always been a source of inspiration for Pharrell Williiams at Louis Vuitton and the latest leather goods release is the perfect example of that. Called the LV Touch and consisting of four styles made from supple calfskin and suede, it’s equal parts practical and elegant. You’ll find The Steamer 30, a packable style that dates back to the 1900s when similar pieces were placed in trunks. The Verso Hobo, like its name implies, is a hobo while the Steamer Backpack is ideal for those who prefer to have something that goes on both shoulders. To round out the collection, the Delta Slingbag which is easy and casual. All will come with a tonal front pocket with topstitched V design as a nod to Gaston-Louis Vuitton’s V blazon as well as V-shaped carabiner that features a discreet monogram flower design. A Rockin’ Montblanc Collection
The first instrument you’d associate with a classic rock band would be a guitar but a writing instrument also makes a lot of sense — after all, how else does a song come into existence? For the holiday season Montblanc is collaborating with the legendary band, Queen, on a series of limited edition pens. Consisting of five styles, each is meant to represent a different aspect of their history. You’ll find a dark blue with gold-plated fittings fountain pen that nods to 1991’s Greatest Hits II while a black-and-white design is inspired by the album A Night at the Opera. The third, a gilded creation nods to the band’s appearance during 1985’s Live Aid Benefit concert, with the six songs that they performed decorating the gold skeleton overlay. A fourth features blue sapphires and white gold, and is made to resemble the knobs of an electric guitar. Finally, for true fans, the rarest of the bunch (with a price tag to match!) is made with red lacquer, diamonds, and blue sapphires.
Gap’s Holiday Ads Will Take You Back to the Early Aughts
Millennials all know that nothing conjures up fuzzy holiday feelings quite like a Gap campaign and the brand’s well aware of that nostalgia. Since 2023, the brand has been calling back to that era with updated versions of those ads. For 2025, they’re calling it Give Your Gift, featuring up-and-coming singer Sienna Sprio performing a reimagined version of Miley Cyrus’ The Climb. Along with a multigeneration choir with members that range from 8 to 72, all clad in cozy sweaters from their CashSoft range, it’s charming enough to win over any Scrooge.
Rosalia is the Ultimate Calvin Klein Model
If you spent even a minute on Spotify today, you’d know it’s a big week for Rosalia with the release of her highly anticipated album Lux. The genre-defying, multi-lingual experience is getting rave reviews for its unique point of view on pop music. And because it’s Rosalia’s world and we’re all living in it, comes her latest campaign with Calvin Klein. Shot by Carlijn Jacobs, the images find the singer clad in the brand’s latest satin and cotton underwear styles. Whether photographed in black-and-white looking up from a chair or in moody color, Rosalia exudes the confidence and attitude fans have come to love from her.
A Tote Bag For the Design Conscious
A tote bag is a tote bag but what if it was more than that? That’s the thinking behind PARSEL, a new line of what the brand is calling a modular carrying system. Founded by a collective of design and art world folks, at the helm is Nur Abbas, the former head of design at Yeezy and design director at Nike ACG alongside photographer Roe Ethridge. They’re launching the label with a series of EVA totes offered in two sizes and six colors. Consisting of a unit, liner, and strap, the combination of durable high density EVA, aluminum, and reinforced technical nylon webbing enables the wearer to reconfigure it to their needs and ensure it’ll hold up over time. Expect more style meets function pieces to follow as well as an ongoing campaign shot by Ethridge that shows how everyday life intersects with these pieces.
Gabriela Hearst’s Concert For Civil Rights
Sustainability has always been a pillar for Gabriela Hearst but she’s also advocating for change in other ways as well. The latest initiative? Along with Yola Mezcal and Ben & Jerry’s, the brand is working with the American Civil Liberties Union to support their first Creatives for Freedom Benefit Concert. With an impressive lineup that features headliner Sheryl Crow in addition to performances by Mark Ronson, Maggie Rogers, Taylor Meier, Mon Rovia, and St. Vincent, it’s sure to be a memorable night. Should you be interested in going, it’ll take place at Pioneer Works on November 22nd in Brooklyn with all proceeds going back to the ACLU. Find your tickets here.
