A dog is a man’s best friend, but that musty wet-dog odour is certainly not. Enter Fefé, Dolce & Gabbana’s new fragrance mist for your four-legged friends. Inspired by Domenico Dolce and partner Guilherme Siqueira’s own faithful playmate, Fefé – an adorable toy poodle and the fragrance’s namesake – it’s a subtle, but effective solution to puppy funk.
Developed by renowned master perfumer Emilie Coppermann and crafted with the olfactory and skin sensitivities of dogs in mind, the mist is completely alcohol-free, ensuring a pleasant experience for both the animal and their owner. Concocted using delicate and warm notes of ylang-ylang which harmonise with the fresh aroma of musk and undertones of smooth sandalwood, Fefé promises to keep your canine companion smelling fresh day in, day out.
The fragrance is Safe Pet Cosmetics-certified too, which means the same, high standards and health regulations that apply to human-use cosmetics are employed here. Not to mention, it’s ethologist-approved, favoured by veterinarians and ensures the well-being of your pet’s skin and eyes whilst controlling their unpleasant odours.
Fefé the dog takes centre stage, or rather, the director’s seat, in the campaign. Perched on a chair embroidered with his name, he and his furry friends pose, sniff, smile and play around the fragrance flacon, becoming charming little tenderfoot movie stars in their own right. Their crimson collars – also on offer – sit in contrast to the sophisticated, green lacquered glass bottle that houses Fefé. And for a touch of luxury, the bottle also features a red metal cap and is adorned by a 24-carat gold-plated paw print relief embossed with D&G’s instantly recognisable monogram.
With Fefé, both you and your pup are sure to be pawsitively satisfied – pun intended.
