Louis Vuitton Throws a Biker Party
First debuting at the spring 2025 runway show, Louis Vuitton’s Biker bag draw’s from the brand’s history of travel. The roomy leather carryall features side straps and buckles that nod to trunk enclosures. Available in three sizes, the handbags also have plenty of hooks so that you can customize to your heart’s content. And that’s what happened last night as Louis Vuitton hosted both a cocktail and dinner to celebrate the Biker. Guests came with the new style dangling from their hands. No two were alike as some chose to wrap the handles with scarves while others attached charms. And for those who love a bag plushie, it was also the perfect opportunity to show them off. With the likes of Kate Young, Anna Weyant, and more in attendance, it was a festive, stylish evening full of champagne and laughs.
Go on a D-Journey
Dior is taking a playful approach to the launch of their new D-Journey bag with a witty film parody starring the House’s ambassadors. Fronted by British actress Rosamund Pike, the film channels old infomercials to showcase the bag’s glamour and practicality. Joining Pike are Sonam Kapoor, Zheng Qinwen, Camille Cottin, Deva Cassel, and Anyier Anei, who highlight the D-Journey’s versatility through scenes of their busy lives. Designed by Maria Grazia Chiuri for the Spring-Summer 2025 collection, the D-Journey proves itself to be the perfect chic companion for modern living.
Jimmy Choo’s Bon Bon Gets a Sparkly Upgrade
While the first thing that comes to mind when you hear Jimmy Choo might be their shoes, the brand’s bag line is pretty popular too. The most well known of them all? The Bon Bon, which is getting a shimmery twist courtesy of a limited-edition Swarovski capsule. Consider them less of an accessory and more of a work of art. Consisting of five styles, all will include a rose-colored crystal embellished label and be presented in packaging that evokes a jewelry box.
Atelier Bon Bon 1 is covered in three-dimensional crystal leaves and features a lattice outer layer, giving it the illusion of a bag within a bag. To create the basket-like shape, artisans hand sewed 15,000 crystals onto 12 woven suede strips. Couple that with the 15,000 on the leaves and you have 25,000 gems in total. The second and third styles feature a graphic, linear design that uses nearly 3,400 crystals. Finally, the last two draw from nature — a constant source of inspiration for creative director Sandra Choi. Evoking an English garden, the bags are covered in flowers that utilize a layering technique to create a sense of three dimensionality. Each requires two artisans five days to complete. This unique capsule will be available in select stores worldwide this month.
Maison Margiela and Christian Louboutin Celebrate Their Collaboration
Ever since Maison Margiela and Christian Louboutin announced that they were teaming up on two capsule collections that celebrated the best of both brands, the hype was high. Fans have been plotting how to get their hands on a pair, with the ballet flats being among the most coveted. In honor of the launch, the two brands threw a party attended by the likes of Meadow Walker, Iris Apatow, Chase Sui Wonders, and more. The space featured an immersive experience that began with a giant red and white floral installation at the entrance. Inside a white fog billowed throughout, which was a nod to Maison Margiela’s Artisanal 2024 show. Subsequent rooms showcased films featuring the shoes while another held the styles, themselves — sadly not for purchase.

Loro Piana Pops Up in South Coast Plaza
In honor of Loro Piana’s 100th anniversary, the brand is opening pop-ups around the world. This month, they’ll be setting up shop at South Coast Plaza in California. Running from March 6th through the 24th, you’ll see a specially themed display that speaks to Loro Piana’s legacy of craftsmanship, savoir-faire, and materiality. Rendered in a neutral palette, which nods to their factory in Quarona, you’ll find oak bookcases lined with green fabric designed to resemble their archives. Nestled in the shelves are lacquered puppets, representing miniature archivists overseeing the documents. A brass and champagne oak pulley hangs from the ceiling while black and white photos from past campaigns sway from the upholstered panel to create a moodboard of the past. As for the rest of the pop-up decor, it includes brushed oak or kummel finishes accompanied by a warm-toned rug and soft linen, giving off a cozy and alluring ambience. Check it out before it ends in 10 days.

Featuring the likes of Carrie Mae Weems, Sheree Hovsepian, Moyra Davey, and Shaniqwa Jarvis, the works represent the ethos of WOAH, a female-founded art and culture firm. The series of photographs highlight each woman’s unique point of view on the power of visual storytelling. You’ll be able to catch the exhibit for the next ten weeks with more events planned including artist talks.
