As we end another year and head into a well-deserved holiday break, we’re capping off our final fashion news roundup with some festive news. Over in Aspen, if it’s the third week of December, it’s the St. Regis Snow Polo tournament. This year’s match was as star-studded as ever, including an appearance from Prince Harry. By night, the agenda was glitzy dinner after dinner alongside bashes including Hennessy and Zachary Weiss’ caviar-filled affair. Prefer a warmer place to party? Louis Vuitton rang in their new Palm Beach Maison with their own soiree, complete with Venus and Serena Williams in attendance. And while we’re on the topic of new boutiques, Bottega Veneta has officially set up shop in the Meatpacking District in NYC.
Read on to learn more and catch up on what else you might have missed.

Hennessy’s Star-Studded Snow Polo Party
Speaking of parties, if it’s the third week of December, it’s the St. Regis Snow Polo tournament in Aspen. While the daytime events featured matches including the likes of Prince Harry and Nacho Figueras and appearances by Mariah Carey, it’s really evening when things turn up on a notch. One of the biggest parties? The Hennessy and Zachary Weiss’ bash at Caviar Kaspia at the Snow Lodge. Featuring custom equestrian-inspired cocktails like the yuzu-tinged Golden Gallop made with Hennessy V.S.O.P. as well as an espresso-martini inspired Hennessy X Press O served in ice shot glasses, there was also a custom ice wall which offered caviar and displayed the brand’s new Lunar New Year limited edition bottles. Attended by the likes of Mikey Madison, Colman Domingo & Raúl Domingo, Phoebe Dynevor, Shay Mitchell, and more, it was an indulgent way to celebrate the holidays.
St. Regis and Staud Are Back With Another Après Ski Capsule
Also happening in Aspen last week was the return of the St. Regis Hotels & Resorts and Staud winter capsule inspired by the glamour of après-ski. Reimagined through Staud’s modern lens and the heritage of St. Regis, the collection transforms winter dressing into a refined wardrobe. Consisting of three pieces, you’ll find a plush pullover fleece that works equally as well layered under a ski jacket as it does for evening. For those who prefer a fun fuzzy accessory, look to their shearling trimmed purse. And finally for off-duty wear, a long-sleeved tee with mountain-inspired motifs gets into the outdoorsy spirit. tAccompanied by a pop-up boutique in Aspen, the collaboration is sure to be a popular stop as ski season gets into full swing.
Bottega Veneta’s New NYC Flagship
NYC’s Meatpacking District has a new resident as Bottega Veneta has opened on 58 Gansevoort Street. The new 312 square meter space will carry men’s and women’s clothing, jewelry, shoes, leather goods, jewelry, fragrance and even travel collections. With an interior that features concrete floors and walls alongside oak shelves, you’ll also note panel details rendered in green Verde Saint Denis marble. Given that the brand has become known for their focused decor curation, the new shop doesn’t disappoint with pieces by the likes of Jorge Zalszuspin and Lea Colombo as well as a glass vase by Orsoni, a Venetian brand founded in 1888. Another detail to note is a special display cabinet highlighting Bottega’s signature color palette as well as the intricate craft behind their Intrecacciato weave. Finally, as a nod to their new neighborhood and the NYC creative community at large, you’ll see curated artworks and an in-store library that includes Robert Rauschenberg’s illustrations for Dante’s Inferno, Etel Adnan’s Between East & West, and Ed Roberson’s Road Poems.
An Exclusive Breitling Launches at Bucherer

Nina Ricci Launches Le Bal Bag
Looking for a bag that’s a little more unexpected? Nina Ricci’s just released their latest style, designed by creative director Harris Reed. Called Le Bal, it’s as the name implies: a curved style that becomes more circular as you go from the mini to the medium to the large size. For those who prefer a small silhouette, Le Bal Mini mixes black leather with animal print and features a long handle so that it sits on the shoulder comfortably. Finished with a gold clasp, it’s tiny but mighty with enough room for a phone alongside other essentials. At one size up, the medium takes its cues from a bowling bag with a rounded silhouette and comes with a removable strap, in case you want to carry it crossbody. And finally, the biggest of them all, Le Bal Bag Grand, is designed for those who need to tote around a laptop all day as it accommodates a 15” one. Shop them all here.
Casablanca’s Motel Fantasy
After dropping a Los Angeles-inspired campaign starring Iris Law last week. Casablanca is back with another California-infused series of imagery. Called Casablanca Beach Club, the photos draw from skate and surf culture and are set at the Pink Motel, a common film location. Shot by Corentin Leroux and Myles Hendrik and starring the likes of Zoe Panis, Luke Champion, Grayson Harivel, and Antonio Macek, the series of cinematic shots span from the rooms themselves to the parking lot to a 1950s-style diner to, naturally, a swimming pool that doubles as a skate bowl. Clad in graphic pieces featuring lush tropical plants, you’ll find everything from knit dresses to crochet to coordinating silk sets, all ideal for a warm weather vacation. To complete the beach vibe there’s swimwear alongside terry cloth towel-style separates, and even a surfboard. Consider your next holiday wardrobe sorted.
Maxfield and Rick Owens Made a Sneaker
On the other end of the Los Angeles style spectrum is Maxfield’s, a mecca for those who prefer their clothes on the avant-garde and minimalist side. The beloved luxury retailer announced that they’re partnering up with Rick Owens for the duo’s first-ever footwear collaboration — something seems like a match made in heaven. Called Vintage Sneaks by Rick Owens for Maxfield, the black low-top lace-ups are made with pirarucu leather sourced from a freshwater fish native to the Amazon Basin known for their scaled texture. Combined with a triangular leather appliqué on the side and Owen’s signature shark-toothed bumper sole, the chunky skater-style kicks are extremely limited with only 24 available worldwide. Find them at Maxfield Los Angeles, Maxfield Malibu, and online.
