Louis Vuitton Adds Amazonite to Their Color Blossom Collection

Going green takes on a new meaning for Louis Vuitton as they expand their Color Blossom jewelry collection with their newest stone: Amazonite. Color Blossom, which was first released in 2015, is inspired by the flowers seen in the brand’s monogram and is interpreted into rings, pendants, earrings, and bracelets in materials that range from rich red cornelian, shimmery mother-of-pearl, and onyx. The latest addition to the family, Amazonite, has a signature minty blue-green hues and derives its name from the Amazon in Brazil, where it was first believed to be discovered. It’s best known for its distinctive inclusions that make each piece unique with shades that range from light green to turquoise to greenish blue. For the new hue, the brand made a single floral pendant necklace that’s accented with a diamond as well as a similar bracelet. There are also two statement pieces with a sautoir necklace and bracelet that features alternating Amazonite and diamond pave flowers — a special item for anyone who loves a colorful bauble.

Sofa Coppola and Augustinus Bader Collaborate on a Tinted Lip Balm

Few luxury skincare lines have as intense of a following as Augustinus Bader. Known for their skincare products The Cream and The Rich Cream, they also have a cult following for the lip balm. One of those devotees? Director Sofia Coppola, who partnered up with the brand on three tinted lip balms. Featuring Bader’s proprietary TFC8® technology which supports the body’s ability to renew as well as a blend of plant-based butters and oils like Shea, Vitamin E, and Candelilla wax, the shades not only offer color but moisture and protection from environmental stressors. “The Bader lip balm is one of my favorites so I was excited when the brand agreed to collaborate on a tinted version. Shade 1 is based on a favorite sheer deep pink lipstick I hoarded after it was discontinued, that’s easy and adds a brightening, subtle tint. Shade 2 is a red coral I like for summer or at the beach, and Shade 3 is a burnt, earthy plum,” explains Coppola via the press release. Given that she’s the original queen of cool girl no makeup makeup, expect these to sell fast. Get yours here.

Fendi’s Roman Holiday

Speaking of warm weather jaunts, Fendi’s summer 2024 collection also comes just in time for your summer holiday. Drawing from Rome, a place that artistic director Kim Jones considers a constant source of inspiration, the line highlights how the city is equal parts cosmopolitan and seaside in spirit. Jones draws from his spring 2024 presentation, with a palette of pale blues, salmon, yellow, and neutrals seen across the sportswear, sequin knits, and tailoring. The signature Paquin pattern originally designed by Karl Lagerfeld in 1983 is updated in summery hues, making it the print of choice for silk twill separates, tulle dresses, and also on a leather jacket. Also in the mix are other seasonal motifs like the bi-color Labyrinth seen in the women’s side as well as Summer in Roma for the menswear. For those looking to expand their bag collection, the brand is also introducing the archival-inspired Roll bag, a reversible tote that was originally designed to be worn with the Baguette — the quintessential definition of a perfect city to beach tote.
