10 Things to Talk About

1) TOTALLY TUBULAR:

BVLGARI

Bulgari’s Tubogas design—its name refers to the corrugated pipes used for transporting pressurized gas in the 1920s—has appeared on everything from Serpenti watches to necklaces, cuffs, and earrings since its launch in 1948. And now new pieces have been added, in the form of four bracelets and a diamond encrusted collar. To celebrate, New York City is playing home to Bvlgari Studio, where artists have been invited to reinterpret the maison’s signature designs through music, film, and more. bulgari.com

DIOR

Cannage, the geometrical pattern seen on the guests’ Napoleon III–style chairs at Monsieur Dior’s first show in 1947, was a natural starting point for the house’s artistic director of jewelry, Victoire de Castellane, when it came to her new My Dior collection. The mainstay motif is reflected in its rings, earrings, and bracelets, evoking not just cane but also mesh and ribbons, and is presented in yellow, rose, and white gold—with a sprinkling of diamonds too, of course. dior.com
