Luxury watch and jewellery brand Piaget is turning 150, and what better way to celebrate than with an exquisite collection of radiant pieces that emphasise the house’s flawless, avant-garde craftsmanship. Established in 1874, this sesquicentennial anniversary collection celebrates Piaget’s revered design philosophy which focuses on using fabric-like precious metals and vibrant ornamental stones. Intending to revisit the bold styles championed during the ‘60s and ‘70s, there are 96 designs on offer, with punters able to choose from a vast range of necklaces, watches, bracelets, earrings and rings. The release is accompanied by a campaign featuring model Ella Richards, the new face of the brand.
A wide-ranging catalogue, the collection is divided into three categories emblematic of Piaget’s core tenets; ‘Extraleganza’, ‘Piaget Society’ and ‘When Mastery Ignites Artistry’. The first contains pieces like the Swinging Sautoir, a jaw-dropping necklace made from turquoise, malachite and yellow sapphires while the second celebrates the boldness of the house’s design language with a set of dazzling chokers, necklaces and tassel bracelets. The final theme embraces Piaget’s aptitude for producing stylish pieces, using coiled gold as an anchoring element for the watches, rings and other pieces under the ‘When Mastery Ignites Artistry’ umbrella.
