Blissful Burberry Babies
Is there anything more heart-warming than the sound of children’s laughter? Though we can’t hear it, Burberry’s new Winter 2024 childrenswear campaign is filled with joy (and presumably laughter) – a childhood adventure captured in the Oxfordshire countryside by Rosie Marks. Featuring a gang of very chic children and blissful babies laying in the grass all donning the latest Burberry garms, the house’s check is updated in sand and lichen colourways, while the emblematic duck is joined by other British birds. Elsewhere, spot wildlife hidden in cozy knits created for warmth and comfort. Fashion, function and education – what more could you ask for?

ICYMI earlier this year, Wales Bonner shares snaps from Togetherness, a new creative pursuit traversing the sensory worlds of music and performance. Capturing the chaos from the Hotel Le Marois in Paris, photographer Jebi Labembika’s images feature musical talents including Mansur Brown, Senegalese percussionist Ibou Calebasse, Sarz, and Chris Kirkley from Sahel Sounds. “It was a privilege to witness these artists shining together, and I am grateful for all of the energy they brought to the event,” the designer shared on the project’s impact. “Togetherness, to me, is about providing unique musical experiences so I am proud we were able to start with this special night in Paris.” Stay tuned for the next event.

COS’ Star Studded Fall Campaign

Gucci Introduces the B Bag in Their Fall Campaign
Another brand dropping their fall campaign? Gucci, who went for an intimate setting that brings to mind their men’s ads. Starring Loli, Alaato, and Jianhui, the portraits allow for the sleek pieces to take center stage. There are rich wool coats worn with delicately embroidered slip dresses. The palette is mostly soft and neutral although there are also bits of color. Of note in the images is the introduction of the Gucci B bag. With its slouchy shape and medium length strap, it’s inspired by archival pieces from the mid-1950s. Another handbag to note is the GG Milano, a style that first debuted on the fall 2024 runway and is an ode to the city that creative director Sabato de Sarno now calls home. To round it out, the Jackie remains a standby, appearing in new colorways.
Tory Burch’s Feline Capsule Collection Gets Another Life
Earlier this year Tory Burch, along with Humberto Leon, staged a feline-filled pop-up in Los Angeles for a collection inspired by Walter Schels’ photorealistic cat prints. And now, a continuation of that line is available for those who missed out the first time. Consisting of ready-to-wear, swim, bags, and footwear, it’ll be sold online and in select global flagships. To accompany the capsule, the brand tapped Maude Apatow along with her cat Dolly to star in the campaign. Set in a nearby convenience store, it’s a nod to the bodega cats everywhere. In celebration, the brand staged a party that featured an illustrator offering pet portraits, balloon animals, and sweets by Maayan Zilberman. A portion of proceeds from that evening went to Animal Haven, a local New York City shelter.
Ganni Reimagines New Balance’s T500 Sneakers
Ganni and Copenhagen Fashion Week have become nearly synonymous at this point, with the brand having a hand in not just presenting clothes but also supporting new designers. Tapping four designers, MASCULINA, Bonnetje, Camilla Skov, and Ojuna Njama Petersen, the results offered playful and artistic interpretations on the classic shoe. From crafting a ceramic version of the kicks to utilizing details on a pair of pumps, they highlighted the depth of talent that the city has to offer. While the art pieces might not be available for purchase, should you want a pair of Ganni x New Balance sneakers, those will be available come September 20th.
