Whether your idea of transformative beauty is a sybaritic massage, a stop-them-in-their-tracks perfume, or a lip color that changes with the light, there will be something to thrill you this spring. Plus, we’ve got flower-powered skincare, the ‘it’ eyeshadow shade, and nail treatments that are not to be missed.
Innovative wellness destination 113 Spring reimagines holistic health.
When you think of a ‘wellness experience,’ you probably imagine a massage—maybe a sound bath, cold plunge, or hyperbaric oxygen chamber. You can find these things in countless places around New York City. But what about something that fuels your creativity or sparks awe? This is where 113 Spring, a new well-being destination in Soho, comes in. Designed to be an ever- changing concept space with experiential wellness programming that rotates every three to six months, 113 Spring feels more like an art gallery than it does a spa, encompassing a tastefully curated boutique and a mini café serving seasonally sourced small plates and botanical elixirs.
Its debut installation, Presence is the Present, opened last fall and focused on mindfulness, with a series of talks and two immersive experiences: Emergence, a personalized meditation using bio- feedback, and Mind-Scent, an AI-guided scent creation journey that enabled guests to compose five personalized perfumes, then smell them while wearing an EEG headband that translated brain activity into abstract imagery projected onto a screen.
For spring and summer 2026, the theme will be Energy, with a new menu of experiences and fresh goodies in the shop. All offerings are reviewed by an Expert Advisory Board, which includes Dr. Jennifer Garrison, a neuroscientist and women’s health leader at UCSF, Dr. Azza Gadir, a molecular immunologist with expertise in the microbiome, Dr. Evelyne Bischof, a Swiss, board-certified internal medicine doctor focused on longevity, and preventative health innovator Dr. Stephanie Kuku, a former OBGYN and WHO advisor. “Our vision was to create a place curated through the lens of expert perspectives, where every detail feels fresh, inspiring, and intentional,” says Melissa Bunning, director of programming and partnerships. “By inviting new voices from science, culture, and creativity, our offerings are truly unique to the space. Most importantly, we aim to inspire positive impact and meaningful change, not just for each guest, but for our wider community and the planet.” Massages are great—but devoting time for wellness that leaves you feeling relaxed, inspired, even enlightened? That sounds even better.
