Prada’s Days of Summer campaign, Gucci’s next generation, and more.
Nowhere is buzzier than New York City right now as celebrities and their entourages descend in time for the Met Gala on Monday. We’ll be covering that night extensively, with a reporter on the red carpet as well as our editors being out and about for the (many) after parties. So check back here as well as our Instagram, in order to not miss a single look or moment from that night. Speaking of the first Monday in May, there have been parties in the lead up to the big day from H&M’s bash for their Stella McCartney collaboration to Simone Rocha’s cocktail for her latest Croc collection. Meanwhile, also this weekend: F1 in Miami, which comes just as Brioni announced their partnership with Alpine. And of course while this is happening in real time, fashion campaigns keep dropping with the likes of Prada Days of Summer, Gucci’s Next Generation, and Bottega Veneta’s ode to Venice to name a few.
Read on to learn more and catch up on what else you might have missed.
Summer in the City, Reimagined
In their Days of Summer 2026 campaign, Prada transforms the idea of the city and the beach into a surreal landscape, where sand stretches across rooftops and people swim above skylines. Photographed by David Sims, the cast, composed of Bella Hadid, Damson Idris, Louis Partridge, and Liu Wen, are pictured in these contrasting, dreamlike oases, mirroring the collection itself, where tailoring meets swimwear. Under the direction of Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons, the campaign captures the brand’s signature combination of the classic and the new.
GUCCI’S NEXT GENERATION
Demna continues his transformation at Gucci with a new campaign, centering on a collective of individuals who represent a new generation for the brand. Photographed by Demna himself, the images highlight the designer’s party-wardrobe vision, with reimagined accessories like the Jackie 1961 in new proportions and an angular Dionysus bag. The campaign video, directed by Jonathan Glazer, takes place in a retro motel under a full moon, and stars Mariacarla Boscono and Alex Consani alongside a cast of characters as they embark on a surreal journey. Where the road will take us, nobody knows.
MCQUEEN’S BOXE SNEAKERS ENTER THE RING
Creative director Seán McGirr’s latest sneaker drop for McQueen takes inspiration from the classic aesthetic of traditional boxing footwear. First seen on the spring 2026 runway in a more traditional high-top version, the Boxe sneaker is lightweight and sleek, made in padded leather and featuring a contrasting McQueen logo insert. The shoe is available in a variety of colorways, including black, white, red, and silver leather, as well as mixed-material variations in blue, white, and beige across leather, nylon, and suede. We’ll take one of each.
Bottega Veneta Reimagines Venice
Tourists flock to Venice to experience its canals and palazzos but for Bottega Veneta, the Floating City takes on a different meaning. As the location for their fall 2026 campaign, under the creative direction of Louise Trotter, British photographer Chris Rhodes reimagines the locale in a softer, more intimate point of view. Using everyday backdrops like vintage wallpaper and terrazzo flooring, a series of models highlight the best of the collection. With a sharp focus on details, be it the brand’s signature intrecciato, a coat’s paillettes, or a close up of a sock and shoe combination, the images remind us that craftsmanship and creativity can both honor heritage while looking oh so modern.
Burberry Drops a Surprise Swim Collaboration
If it’s summer, you’re likely going to see a Hunza G on a few (or many!) women on the beach. The swimwear brand known for their one size fits most one pieces has become a cool girl favorite. And it seems like they have one more trick up their sleeve as this week Burberry announced they’re uniting with the label for a capsule collection that combines the best of both worlds. Consisting of four silhouettes designed to sculpt and support, you’ll find Burberry’s iconic check trimming Hunza G’s signature crinkled fabric. Shot by Ryan McGinley and featuring Simone Ashley and Alva Claire, the campaign showcases the line’s modern spirit in sunny, warm weather settings.
A NEW CAMPAIGN FOR NORDSTROM’S 125TH
While you settle into your theater seat to see “The Devil Wears Prada 2”, you may catch Nordstrom’s “Based on a True Story” campaign during the previews. The short film, which celebrates the retailer’s 125th anniversary, is inspired by real customer experiences and features cameos by actors True Whitaker, Amita Rao, Al Warren, and Greta Titelman. It’s part of a run of collaborations, activations, and customer events that the department store has planned for this year; an upcoming retrospective exhibition in partnership with Seattle’s Museum of History and Industry is also slated to open this summer.
Simone Rocha Celebrates Her Newest Crocs Collaboration
Now on its fifth iteration, Simone Rocha and Crocs just released their latest collaboration. Consisting of two styles, a platform Mary Jane and a flatform sandals, the squishy shoes are given the Rocha treatment with plenty of gems and pearls. In celebration of this release, the designer hosted a cocktail at the brand’s Wooster Street boutique. With guests clad in their ribboned best, accented with footwear from the collection, it was a night to celebrate all things girly and fun. Featuring a food installation by Laila Gohar there was plenty of cake, fruit served with cream, and champagne, spirits were high and lively. Want a pair of your own? The new collection dropped today and can be found here.
A Menswear Capsule Collection For Wanderers
Mr Porter just released an exclusive capsule with Brunello Cucinelli, inspired by the tones and textures of Moroccan landscapes. The 48-piece collection blends soft tailoring with lightweight layering, bringing an effortless approach to warm weather dressing. Earthy colors and adaptable silhouettes define the range, spanning everything from suiting to accessories. Standout pieces include a Prince of Wales checked blazer, a woven leather-trimmed weekend bag, and relaxed linen essentials.
Veronica Leoni’s Sophomore Outing Gets Immortalized
Calvin Klein’s spring 2026 collection campaign spotlights Creative Director Veronica Leoni’s second collection for the house. Shot by Juergen Teller during the brand’s New York Fashion Week runway show, the photos show the models in action. A palette of white, beige, and black is mixed with flashes of candy pink and fern green, underscore a wardrobe that balances intimacy with self-expression. Featuring a mix of tailoring, pinafore silhouettes, and underwear-as-outerwear, Leoni finds her stride.
A Match Made in Heaven For Fashion and F1 Lovers
Just in time for the Miami Grand Prix comes news that Brioni is partnering with BWT Alpine Formula One Team for the 2026 season, bringing Italian tailoring to the world of motorsport. With a shared ethos of precision and excellence, the collaboration features elegant, lightweight designs, including the signature Soffio Blazer. With a legacy of seven World Championships, Alpine is entering a new era of F1 with both fierce competition and a brand new look.
