Louis Vuitton’s latest collection riffs on the brand’s signature floral motif.
Few logos are more recognizable in fashion than Louis Vuitton’s signature monogram. Consisting of the letters L and V as well as a repeating floral motif, the brand has seen this design reinterpreted in a multitude of ways, including serving as a creative launching point for jewelry. In 2012 the blossom inspired the launch of Idylle Blossom while in 2016, the Color Blossom collection debuted. Now, Louis Vuitton is adding to the family with the new Blossom Fine Jewelry collection. Francesca Amfitheatrof, the brand’s Artistic Director of Watches and Jewelry, dreamed up an abstract vision as seen in a series of rings, earrings, bracelets and pendants.
Unlike the previous collections, Amfitheatrof opted to interpret the star-shaped motif by highlighting outlines of the shape as well as playing with volume and size. Featuring 11 pieces in either pink or white gold, the designs are meant to complement your personal styles. For those seeking delicate personal jewelry you’ll find stackable earrings, rings and pendants, accented with a smattering of diamonds. If over-the-top creations are more your speed, there are exaggerated hoops, as seen on Ana de Armas, made with an open flower design. To round it out, a modern, on-trend ear cuff as well as an edgy earring meant to be worn solo are for those looking to add some cool to their wardrobe.
The rose gold pieces are available now, while the 18k white gold drops in October. See the collection here.
