With the current strikes, major Hollywood red carpet moments have been few and far between but Neiman Marcus and Brunello Cucinelli are still hoping to inject a bit of that glamor into your wardrobe. To celebrate Cucinelli’s award for Distinguished Services in the Field of Fashion, as given by the retailer last fall, the luxury brand is offering exclusive collections at Neiman Marcus locations and online. The first, which launched this past spring, was called the Icon Collection. As a follow up the second, which launched last week, is appropriately titled Hollywood Glamour. With over 68 men’s and women’s styles, it marks the largest collaboration between the two to date.
Designed by both Brunello as well as his daughters Carolina and Camilla, the pieces are inspired by the golden age of Hollywood. With options that cover both daytime and evening dressing, the pieces are meant to elevate the everyday as well as offer styles that make for memorable affairs. You’ll find jeans and down vests, all made with the most luxurious materials possible. Tailoring, always a strong point, gets reimagined with vertical paillette stripe treatments on jackets for the women’s side while the men’s selection includes formal jackets, overcoats, and double breasted suits. For those who want to ramp things up, there is plenty of the Brunello Cucinelli signature sparkle as well. Whether woven into the knits or adorning gowns and flapper dresses, the formal pieces are made to be eye-catching while still sophisticated. To round it out, there are a few statement pieces, namely a beaded choker and a slinky bustier, to give it a youthful twist.
