Bucherer’s revamped flagship in Las Vegas is full of unique, sparkling treasures.
If you’ve ever dreamed of being surrounded by millions of dollars of diamonds and rare watches then a visit to Bucherer’s revamped Las Vegas flagship at The Forum Shops in Caesars’ Palace will have your head spinning. The store, known as TimeDome, is certified by the Guiness Book of World Records as the largest of its kind in North America spanning nearly 19,000 feet over two floors. Following 18 months of intense redesign, the new space spares no expense to detail from the 22 foot tall glass panels on the façade to the expansive grand staircase that serves as the focal point of the room to all of the art and furniture, all curated especially for the shop. Only in Vegas can pieces from the likes of Damien Hirst and Andy Warhol sit side-by-side with a 6,000 pound custom-designed marble table and still not be the priciest items in the room.
Upon entry you’ll notice a custom, one-of-a-kind Harley Davidson motorcycle behind velvet ropes. Bucherer’s signature Dizzler rings (imagine a fancy diamond fidget spinner on your finger) serves as accents on the handles while a massive eight carat diamond ring sits beneath a dome on the body of the bike. Consider that just a taste of what the store has to offer because once you properly walk around, you’ll find that the brand has filled the cases with some of the world’s most unique pieces.
In 2018 Bucherer purchased Tourneau, the watch retailer, and their merger means that timepieces remain a central focus in the space. The likes of Rolex and Cartier have devoted sections, with each’s signature visual branding blending seamlessly into the overall design of the store — a detail that the team was proud to note. You’ll also find other luxury labels like Omega, Tudor, Breitling, and more in the mix.
But the real standouts are the unique Jacob & Co. watches that dot the space. For Rihanna fans, they’ll be excited to note that the timepiece she wore at the Super Bowl to announce her second pregnancy is available for purchase. Only 100 of the red and diamond studded creations were made in the world and it’ll cost you just shy of one million dollars. Another standout? The roulette watch in the front of the shop, which actually spins. And for Godfather fans, there’s a design that not only plays the theme song but also features Don Corleone, in miniature, at the center of the face. And in case you don’t have six figures to spend on a watch but are looking for something special, the Certified Pre-Owned area features an array of vintage Rolex, Omega, and Cartier styles that are equally as covetable.
For fine jewelry lovers, the selection is equally as impressive. On the second floor you’ll be able to browse pieces from Chanel and Messika as well as the brand’s own collection. The showstopper is a nearly 3-million dollar piece known as the Fancy Yellow Diamonds Riviere Necklace. Consisting of 135 carats, it took seven years to source all of the stones. Fans of Sydney Sweeney can gaze at the ring she wore to the Met Gala, a $2.5 million dollar stunner that features both pink-and-white diamonds while another bauble called the Inner Fire Necklace is a stunning diamond creation featuring over six carats worth of diamonds. No matter where you turn, there’s a glass case containing a sparkly, eye-catching design — a fitting temptation in case a high-rolling shopper gets lucky at the tables.
