10 Things You Might Have Missed This Week: Pop Stars and Pop-Ups

Burberry sets up at Corner Bistro, Dua Lipa marries in Chanel, and more.

Summer has formally arrived and vibes are high, especially in New York City. It’s great timing on the part of Burberry then, that they’re hosting a takeover at Corner Bistro until June 28th in honor of their “Good Sport” campaign. Kicking off with a party earlier this week, the crowd was all smiles as England won over Croatia. And speaking of things that are making people happy, Dua Lipa’s wedding photos were equally as charming. Clad in custom Matthieu Blazy Chanel couture, it captured the contagious joyful spirit that seems inescapable at the moment. And while Rosalia’s music might not always be as upbeat, the energy at her shows have been electric, with the stylish singer clad in custom Dior by Jonathan Anderson.

Read on to learn more and catch up on what else you might have missed.

Burberry Takes Over NYC’s Corner Bistro

New York City is a sports town now, didn’t you hear? Between this week’s Knicks celebration parade and World Cup fever, walking through the streets it’s not uncommon to hear a burst of cheers. In that spirit, it’s great timing for Burberry to take over Corner Bistro to mark the launch of their “A Good Sport Campaign”. Running until June 28th, the West Village spot beloved for their burgers has gotten a little makeover. You’ll find bar stools wrapped in the brand’s signature check while glassware features the Burberry Knight. And besides the usual menu, you’ll also be able to order Pimm’s Cups (or fruit punch for the Brits) as well as an English beer alongside a slew of traditional condiments like HP sauce. Throughout the next week they’ll be hosting events and live sports screening, with the kickoff being last week’s England versus Croatia match. Attended by the likes of Daniel Lee, Myha’la, Indira Scott, and more, a good time was had by all.

This Ad Campaign is Made For Handbag Lovers

Bottega Veneta’s Il Mio is a new portrait series photographed by Drew Vickers under the creative direction of Louise Trotter, celebrating the intimate connection between a bag and its owner. Named after the Italian phrase meaning “what belongs to me,” the campaign explores how accessories become lifelong companions, shaped by personal stories and passed down through generations. The series spotlights five Intrecciato designs including the Mini Andiamo, Lauren 1980, Madison, and a first look at the upcoming Baby Campana and Baby Barbara. Through these portraits, Bottega Veneta presents their creations as extensions of the lives of those who carry the bags.

Dua Lipa Marries in Chanel

As far as wedding wardrobes go, no one can beat Dua Lipa. The pop star wore a shimmery Versace mini for her bachelorette and then followed it up with a sculptural Schiaparelli for her civil ceremony to Callum Turner. Then came the custom Bottega Veneta during her welcome drinks. And now we’re seeing her actual dress for the big day and of course, it’s Chanel. Marking the first time Matthieu Blazy has made a couture bridal design, the sweeping low back halter with a two meter train reflected the work of not just the brand’s ateliers but also the maisons d’art. From Atelier Montex’s beading, trompe l’oeil jewels by Lesage to 25,000 by Lemarié, it’s a creation that was thousands of hours in the making.

Rosalia’s Custom Dior Tour Looks Are as Incredible as You’d Expect

One of the hottest concert tickets this summer is undoubtedly for Rosalia’s Lux tour and for those lucky enough to attend her Boston show last week, fans got a surprise in the form of new tour looks by Dior’s Jonathan Anderson. Opening with a ballerina-inspired design that teamed a round-neck knit tank top with an organza tutu skirt accented with leaf-inspired medallions embroidered with decorative white sequins and beads, Rosalia kicked off the show with Sexo, Violencia y Llanta before segueing into Reliquia and Porcelana. For Act II, the singer swapped into a black jersey dressed with gleaming bradebourgs and a satin tricorne-hat as the crowd shouted along to Saoko while for her stint on the second stage she wore the same hat along with an open-front pannier dress embroidered with satin ribbons. For those in attendance at her first night at Madison Square Garden, the hat along with her heels were tossed into the audience — talk about a coveted fan item! And finally for Act IV, Dior created a cape that resembled angel made of organza and chiffon feathers that was worn over a white satin bra and shorts embroidered with ivory organza scales. Given how creative the crowd was, it’ll be interesting to see who will try to recreate these outfits for upcoming nights.

Balenciaga Makes Wellness Look So Good

If all this talk about sports is inspiring you to hit the gym (or at least dress like you do), Balenciaga’s TechWear line might be just what you’re looking for. Debuting as a part of their fall 2026 collection, it’s Pierpaolo Piccioli’s take on athleticwear. You’ll find mesh-membraned taffeta tracksuits and a leather windbreaker alongside cutout bodysuits, bike shorts, hot pants, and leggings. Functionality is key with fabrics that are breathable, antibacterial, moisture-wicking, and offer UV protection. In honor of this launch the brand is hosting pop-ups in Paris, Beijing, Shanghai, and Bangkok alongside mini takeovers at Barry’s fitness studios in New York, Los Angeles, London, and more. There customers can order smoothies like the black-and-white  Main Character which has marine collagen cubes or Momentum, a peanut butter and cordyceps concoction.

Fendi’s Star-Studded Baguette Campaign

Speaking of handbags, Fendi is celebrating the legacy of their iconic Baguette with a new campaign that honors its status as a symbol of individuality. Featuring a cast that includes Sarah Jessica Parker, Bang Chan, Emma D’Arcy, Song Yuqi and Jessica Alba, the images pair each personality with a style that reflects their unique self. Photographed by Bibi Borthwick, they capture the handbag’s role as a statement of attitude, history and self-expression, echoing its debut in the minimalist landscape of the late 1990s. Returning to its original silhouette for fall winter 2026 under Maria Grazia Chiuri’s direction, the Baguette reaffirms its place as one of fashion’s most enduring icons.

Petra Collins Reimagines the Power of Makeup

For Kosas‘ new Impressionist Multistick campaign, Petra Collins steps in as both creative inspiration and central figure, bringing her signature vision of intimacy, nostalgia, and modern femininity into the beauty scene. Set within her dreamlike world of sunlit bedrooms, bathroom mirrors, and shared rituals, the photos explore makeup not as transformation, but as a trace of memory, emotion, and self-expression. Marking the first beauty campaign Collins has ever created, the partnership feels like a natural extension of her exploration of female authorship and Kosas’ roots in art and portraiture. The result is a soft series of memories that treats Impressionist less as a beauty product and more as an artist’s tool.

Girlhood, Personified

Roger Vivier’s pre-fall 2026 campaign stars Global Brand Ambassador Yeji, captured within the historic salons of Maison Vivier in Paris. Creative Director Gherardo Felloni blends archival references with imagination, portraying the ITZY idol amidst books and mood boards. At the heart of the collection are new interpretations of the brand’s Belle Vivier designs, alongside the New Ranger loafers and Viv’ in the City pumps. Through Yeji’s vibrant presence, the campaign is a thoroughly charming celebration of the enduring power of girlhood, regardless of age.

VIN. x FWRD Celebrates a Fish Girl Summer

Known for their whimsical bags that resemble everything from fishes to shells to horses, VIN. along with FWRD celebrated the brand’s most recent collection with a dinner at Casino this week. Founders Gabby Kono-Abdy & Claudia Li Johnson held court with a room full of industry friends as everyone posed with their clutches. If the last few years have been about tomato girl summer, Kono-Abdy and Johnson are making a pretty compelling argument that 2026 is all about the fish girl.
