Elevated basics gets the runway treatment.
Following their debut at New York fashion week last year, everyone’s favorite brand for smart tailoring and sleek wardrobe staples, COS, just announced they’ll be staging another runway show in the city this September. “New York Fashion Week continues to be an important stage for global brands to make their mark. The CFDA is delighted to welcome COS back to the official schedule this September,” said Steven Kolb, CFDA CEO in a press release.
While technically the brand jaunted over to Paris earlier this spring to showcase their COS Atelier collection, for fall, there’s no place like the city that kicked off their catwalk presentations. The location has yet to be announced but given the brand’s track record of staging shows at architecturally stunning spaces (in New York it was atop a skyscraper while Paris it was inside a beautifully gilded maison), expect the background to be the perfect complement to all of the sleek looks. Scheduled for September 12 at 7 a.m., the show will be livestreamed on COS’ site so mark your calendars.
