THE 10 LOOKS WE CAN’T STOP TALKING ABOUT FROM THE GRAMMYS

Marie Antoinette revivals, houses on heads, and Thom Browne underwear.

Tonight the 67th Grammy Awards were held in Los Angeles and the devastating wildfires from earlier in the month were on everyone’s mind. From the emotional opening performance where Dawes, along with Sheryl Crow, Brad Paisley, John Legend, Brittany Howard, and St. Vincent performed Randy Newman’s I Love L.A. to Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars’ heartfelt rendition California Dreaming, it was clear that The Recording Academy wanted to toe the line between celebration and respectfulness. And there was plenty of celebration to be had. It was Doechii’s night, with a Thom Browne exclusive from her initial red carpet appearance to her win for Best Rap Album to her viral performance. All the girls of summer 2024 showed up and showed out with the likes of Sabrina Carpenter, Chapell Roan, and Charli XCX not only winning awards but looking amazing doing so.

See the looks that we can’t forget from the night below.

1. CHAPPELL ROAN IN VINTAGE JEAN PAUL GAULTIER

Everyone’s favorite Midwest Princess bought this Spring 2003 Jean Paul Gaultier look back to life, albeit with a Marie Antoinette-inspired twist. Try to find the Degas dancers! As if that wasn’t enough, she had three more outfit changes from gray ensemble sitting in the audience to her custom Zana Bayne performance look to winning Best New Artist in Acne Studios.

2. SABRINA CARPENTER IN JW ANDERSON & CHOPARD

Before gracing the Grammy stage with a jazzy medley of Espresso and Please Please Please, the singer dazzled in a custom JW Anderson dress and a casual 50-carat diamond Chopard necklace hanging down her spine. Guess that outfit proved to be good luck because she took home Best Pop Vocal Album.

3. GRACIE ABRAMS IN CHANEL

Chanel Bride? More Silky Virgin Mary, for whom we pray to.

4. CHARLI XCX IN JEAN PAUL GAULTIER BY LUDOVIC DE SAINT SERNIN & BUCHERER FINE JEWELRY

A version of this couture Jean Paul Gaultier by Ludovic de Saint Sernin gown walked the runway a mere four days ago and of course Charli XCX was the first to wear it. She accented with gorgeous jewelry pieces from Bucherer.

5. OLIVIA RODRIGO IN VINTAGE VERSACE AND TIFFANY AND CO. JEWELRY

Clad in vintage Versace (from the year 2000!) and paired with Tiffany and Co. jewelry, Olivia went minimalist chic to introduce her friend Chappell Roan’s performance.

6. DOECHII IN THOM BROWNE

Doechi is now one of three women who have won Best Rap Album, following Lauryn Hill and Cardi B. Clad in three different Thom Browne looks, no one else was more captivating last night.

7. BEYONCE IN CUSTOM SCHIAPARELLI

Beyonce made Grammy history by winning Best Country Album (which she accepted from Taylor Swift!) in a gold custom Schiaparelli dress that riffed on the classic bandanna pattern. Country glamour, indeed.

8. LADY GAGA IN SAMUEL LEWIS AND TIFFANY & CO. JEWELRY

After announcing her new album just last week, Lady Gaga emerged in an all-black Samuel Lewis dress with archival Tiffany & Co., taking goth queen to another level.

9. JADEN SMITH IN LOUIS VUITTON SUIT AND CUSTOM ABODI TRANSYLVANIA HEADPIECE

The call is coming from inside the house. Or is that just Jaden Smith’s voice we’re hearing?

10. BILLIE EILISH IN PRADA

Before performing Birds of a Feather, the singer debuted a new haircut in her black Prada outfit, complete with a matching sailor hat.
