The Fashion Awards – the annual event that sees industry heavyweights from all corners of the globe come together to celebrate their best and brightest – have just announced the nominees for the coveted Designer of the Year prize and BFC Foundation Award. With the former focusing on some of fashion’s most recognised designers, the latter focuses on those currently participating the BFC’s NewGen programme – a revered incubator for the talents of the future. Having announced the nominees for other awards such as the Model of The Year and British Womenswear Designer in September, the release marks the final addition to the roster of nominees for the event, set to take place on December 4 at London’s luxe Royal Albert Hall.
