WELCOME TO THE MAIDEN VOYAGE OF 10 MEN USA

The launch marks a defining moment for our brand in America. Editing a magazine has never been about one voice; it is about the collective energy, talent, and vision of a committed team. I feel especially fortunate to begin this chapter alongside Dan May, a creative partner I have known for more than 20 years. Together, we bring a shared history since that first day at Vogue House in London, mutual trust from humor to hangovers, and a relentless belief in fashion as culture. This first issue reflects that spirit: ambitious, intelligent, and driven by collaboration. It sets the tone for everything that follows. I share this editor’s letter with my friend and work partner, Dan.

Firstly—what a privilege to be at the helm of a magazine that shares my own values of inclusivity, hope, opportunity, and the ability to dream. A place for people to be highlighted, encouraged, and supported. Something we so need at a time like this.

It’s also a homecoming for me, having been at the birth of 10 in 2000 when global-editor-in-chief, and our own fashion fairy godmother, Sophia Neophitou- Apostolou, dreamed of a place that she went on to create within the pages of every single issue of 10, which has now been published globally for 25 years!

For those fashion geeks, this is the 215th issue of 10 overall, women’s and men’s, born in the UK, Australia, Japan, Germany, and, of course, here in the US.

And what fun it’s been. I’m incredibly proud of the issue. I got to work with creatives I know, who have always inspired me. I’ve talked to people that push boundaries and dare to dream. I’ve met and collaborated with amazing people I now know as colleagues, and the result in the following pages is the product of all of the above.

Nostalgia, classicism, craft: these are three words that we believe represent this moment in time in our industry.

These words take us back to the glory days of fashion and in particular the one and only Mr Armani, who gave us so much, and who so many draw inspiration from today. A true legend and style icon. It also reinforces the themes that are so prevalent in much of the design and work appearing across the world, from London to Tokyo, Los Angeles to Seoul, Paris to Sydney.

Let it serve as a reminder that what has preceded us in time is there for all to admire, lean on, and be inspired by, to be respected and reinterpreted in a new way. Just look at how prep is back and the old Americana vibe, which keeps popping its head up again and again… and in spring/summer 2026 yet again. Well, that’s good timing, I say.

But enough from me. It’s time to turn the pages and go on a 10 Men journey—only this time, through the eyes of America. Enjoy.
