With the long weekend stretching out ahead of us, it’s safe to finally say that summer is upon us — even if the weather on the East Coast feels anything but warm. Nonetheless, in time for season comes more launches and happenings that will be handy once the temps match the calendar. Case in point: the launch of Jimmy Choo The Archive 1997 – 2001, which features sexy sandals made for sultry nights out as well as the release of Prada’s crochet collection filled with straw bags and slides for beachside getaways. And speaking of laying by the ocean, Giorgio Armani Mare announced their seasonal plans which feature takeovers from Capri to Shelter Island. There’s even a branded yacht competing at their regatta in Porto Cervo — and what could be more hot European summer than that?

Iconic Jimmy Choo Styles Are Back

Celebrating the big 3-0 is a milestone in anyone’s life and three decades has never looked better on Jimmy Choo. In honor of their impeding 30th anniversary, the brand is revisiting their roots with a curated edit of iconic styles from their first five years. Jimmy Choo The Archive 1997-2001 featuring eight of their greatest hits like The Strappy and The Leo. Highlights include the reissue of the feathered 72138, made famous by Sex and the City, and bold styles like The Boot in python-print leather. This capsule, curated by Creative Director Sandra Choi alongside fashion innovators, celebrates Jimmy Choo’s past, present, and future.

Giorgio Armani Mare’s Summer World Tour

If it’s Memorial Day weekend,  it’s also the unofficial kickoff for summer. In the spirit of the season comes Giorgio Armani Mare’s worldwide tour celebrating warm weather holidays. In honor of the collection which features light flowing silhouettes and a neutral palette, the festivities kick off in Porto Cervo on May 27-31. There, the brand will be hosting the Giorgio Armani Superyacht Regatta at the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda. The race will feature a customized boat, Sørvind by Giorgio Armani while attendees can shop a pop-up in Piazza Azzurra. Meanwhile on May 30th, the brand will take over the Cannes’ Armani/Caffè terrace in addition to setting up a Giorgio Mare concept at Caffè Caso in Capri. Finally for those in the states, the last big moment will be at Shelter Island at the end of July with a pop-up and beach/restaurant takeover. No matter the location, the vibes will be the same. Think: tropical palms in shades of gray and turquoise as well as ice cream carts, surfboards, and of course, Armani / Casa outdoor furnishings. Omega Names Their Newest Ambassador

To say that Omega’s celebrity lineup is impressive is an understatement. Charles Leclerc is Now a Fashion Designer

Just in time for the Monaco Grand Prix comes news that Ferrari’s Creative Director Rocco Iannacone and Scuderia Ferrari’s Formula 1 driver Charles Leclerc are collaborating on a capsule collection. Featuring 46 pieces along with accessories and limited edition pieces, Leclerc’s personal touch can be seen in everything from the tops to the trousers to the racing gloves. You’ll find shirts with racing customizations while parkas have large pockets. Of course there are driver suits, albeit versions made suitable for everyday wear versus designed to be behind the wheel. Plus, should you want something obviously Leclerc branded, there are tops that feature 2D stites and a relief effect that plays on L as an initial. Accessory wise there are driver gloves, sunglasses with the Ferrari logo, hats, and sneakers. So what better way to commemorate her favorite sweet treat than by teaming up on a playful limited-edition collection inspired by the textures and colors of BonBon’s greatest hits? Eny Lee Parker and Missoma Launch a Jewelry Capsule

Look at any stylish interior photos and chances are, there’s an Eny Lee Parker lamp somewhere in the mix. The New York-based ceramicist, designer, and artist has made a name for herself with her puffy lamps, sculptural tables, and rotund decor items. One person that counts herself as a fan? Marisa Hordem, founder of jewelry brand Missoma. So much so that Hordem tapped Parker to create a capsule collection. Consisting of 13 statement pieces that use molten gold metal and feature luminescent pearls, the silhouettes draw from Parker’s signature pieces. There’s the Puffy Daisy Studs which reference the Puffy Daisy Sconce while another standout is the Puffy Dome Cuff, a statement piece on the wrist for sure.
