It’s a London-New York link-up of stellar proportions.
Supreme has tapped beloved British talent Martine Rose for a collaboration that features everything from faux snakeskin shirts to biker-inspired leathers.
Rose, who bagged the British Menswear Designer gong at last year’s Fashion Awards, has lent her wonderfully wonky vision to the streetwear titan, revisiting a series of styles which have helped define her namesake label as one of the most exciting brands working today.
The collection is chock-full with velour trackies, co-branded football jerseys, retro knits and reversible denim jackets stamped with the names of New York neighbourhoods on one side, with a beer towel graphic featuring across the quilted side. Elsewhere, the collection features an updated rendition of Rose’s classic logo tees – now stamped with Supreme across the chest – alongside a range of accessories including shrunken duffle bags, scarfs and a croc-effect Clarks Originals shoe (Rose is currently the footwear brand’s first-ever guest creative director).
The collection follows a stream of successful collaborations for Rose, which have seen her unite with the likes of Stussy, Tommy Hilfiger and Nike in the past.
Working with photographers Roxy Lee and Heji Shin to photograph the collection on both sides of the Atlantic, the images will appear in a collaborative zine also available to purchase, with all proceeds due to be donated to St. Giles Trust, a charity striving to battle homelessness in the UK.
Get your bank cards at the ready, as the collection drops this Thursday at 4pm on Rose’s website.
