Plus Louis Vuitton celebrates Barcelona and Prada sets up shop in Troy, Michigan.
How does that song go again? The one about pina coladas and escaping? Perhaps that’s the collective mood at the moment, with a strong desire to drift off to distant lands or create fantasy environments. Nowhere is that more evident in the slew of new ad campaign images hitting the internet. You have Louis Vuitton’s resort 2025 collection, shot among the beautiful architecture of Barcelona while Valentino dreams up a glitzy, mirrored holiday party. Even Jimmy Choo is ready to lighten up, with its own festive season imagery that features beautiful people having a good time. And speaking of running away, perhaps nothing is more clear cut than Balenciaga’s Under Armour collection that features the likes of models Léa and Gedeon literally making a mad dash towards the unknown.
Read on to learn more and catch up on what else you might have missed.
Louis Vuitton Celebrates Barcelona
After Louis Vuitton headed to Barcelona this past May to stage their Cruise 2025 show, we now have a first look at the corresponding ad campaign. Shot by Jamie Hawkesworth, the images are a continuation of Artistic Director Nicolas Ghesquière’s desire to showcase his resort collections in locations that exemplify architecture and natural beauty. Naturally Barcelona lends itself quite well to such a concept and the result highlights the dialogue between Ghesquière’s designs and the city’s rich architectural history. You’ll find models clad in looks juxtaposed against iconic locations from Gaudi’s La Pedrera to the Fundació Joan Miró, drawing connections between fashion and art as well as past and present.
Valentino’s Glitzy Holiday Fantasy
Surely you didn’t expect Alessandro Michele to celebrate the holiday season quietly? The newly minted Valentino Creative Director just released his festive season campaign and it’s as sparkly and dreamy as you’d expect. Shot by Glen Luchford and featuring the pieces from Michele’s Avant Les Débuts collection for the brand, the models sway gently in a mirrored ballroom as Bryan Ferry’s Star plays in the background. Clad in turbans, pearls, frilly lace, and lush velvets it’s a maximalist’s dream.
Prada’s Newest Midwest Addition
Good news for Prada lovers near Troy, Michigan, as the brand just opened its first store inside the city’s main shopping area: The Somerset Collection. Featuring a facade that is backlit with crisscrossing lines, the resulting effect creates green triangular shapes that nod back to Prada’s signature logo. Clocking in at 4,250 square feet, you’ll see an interior that includes black-and-white marble as inspired by the floors seen at Milan’s Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, where the brand first set up shop. Velvet green seats are scattered across the space, making it easy to take a break while browsing through the racks of ready-to-wear, bags, shoes, and accessories. At the moment the women’s collection includes classic tailored sets and sablè dresses as well as leopard print and nappa handbags while the men’s offering includes plenty of velvet denim, checkered wool, and canvas.
There’s Nothing Like a Classic Pair of Manolos
In 1994, Manolo Blahnik launched their Mary Janes. With a pointed toe, high heel, and rendered in black patent with grosgrain trim, it was a sexier take on the normally ladylike, conservative design. Worn by Kate Moss in British Vogue as shot by Juergen Teller, the shoes shot to fame and 30 years later, remains a fashion staple. And now, in honor of the 30th anniversary the brand is offering an elegant limited-edition release. Consisting of two options, in black and ivory, both feature an elegant pearl button, also fitting as it’s the traditional gift for this milestone. You can shop them in limited quantities online or at boutiques in London, New York, Paris, Hong Kong and China.
Jimmy Choo is Ready to Party
How do you celebrate the holidays? Well, if you’re Jimmy Choo, you hold a big glam bash. The brand’s winter 2024 campaign, fittingly called The Party, brings the energy of the season to life, set against the lavish interior of Le Carmen in Paris. Photographed by Anthony Seklaoui, models Akon Changkou, Lily Vander Meeden, and Edoardo Sebastianelli are festive and vibrant, clad in pieces that combine rich textures, bold colors, and dazzling crystal detailing. Highlights include the Stevie with a knotted crystal bow, the corset-laced Scarlett pump, and the ruby-red Orb sandal with its signature drop heel. Completing this festive collection are accessories like the micro Bon Bon bag and bejeweled Edie Hobo in the mini sizeI, all available globally now.

Play a Game With Givenchy
Last in the holiday campaigns (at least for this week!) comes Givenchy’s take on the festive season. Called A Holiday Game, the images feature the brand’s sophisticated collection on models who are choosing to while away their time with classic board games.Shot by photographer Mark Kean, the campaign blends elegance and playfulness with standout pieces like the crystal-covered cage dresses, faux fur outerwear, and the statement Voyou bag in suede shearling. Men’s tailoring channels Hubert de Givenchy’s refined style, with tuxedo jackets, cummerbunds, and bold hues of rust and purple. Accessories, including the burgundy python Shark Lock boots and crystal-embellished 4G necklace, round out the collection.
Balenciaga and Under Armour’s Collection is Now Available
Earlier this year Balenciaga hit Shanghai for a rainy evening on the Bund. The spring 2025 show was classic Demna, with plenty of long trenches and a particularly eye-catching pink gown. Also in the mix? A first look at the brand’s collaboration with Under Armour. Yes, that sportswear brand best known for the compression tops that athletes wear while sweating it out on the field went fashion with a capital F. And now, months later, the line is finally in stores. Featuring a selection of sporty designs including windbreakers, quarter zips, and a nylon tracksuit that transforms into a denim zip-up jacket, it’s not your typical athleisure line by any means. With the UA logo centered over the classic Balenciaga stamp, it’s the best of both worlds and that messaging is reinforced as insignias, prints, and embroideries throughout the collection. To accompany the pieces, a campaign, shot by photographer and videographer Joseph Kadow, features slow-motion videos of models running with items from the collection — a riff on what you’d see in typical sportswear commercials.
Jennifer Fisher and Nicole Chavez Collaborate on Jewelry
Browse through Jennifer Fisher’s site and you’ll notice that all the pieces have familiar names. Take for example, the Samira hoops, a collection that Fisher named after her friend and Harper’s Bazaar editor-in-chief Samira Nasr. The latest stylish woman to get her own line? Stylist Nicole Chavez, with a series of six two-tone pieces — a first for the brand. Consisting of an ear cuff, two huggie silhouettes (a smaller micro option and a mid-sized option), and a ring, there will be additional styles launching come January 2025. Bold and eye-catching, they’re the ideal size for everyday wear while offering additional impact should you choose to layer them. Check out the entire range here.
Pamela Love Goes Surreal
For Pamela Love, female Surrealist artists Claud Cahun and Leonor Fini served as the primary inspiration for her latest collection, Camera Obscura. Consisting of singular earrings as well as a larger version of the brand’s portrait ring, the idea is to mix and match at your leisure. Pieces include a dangler that features a manicured hand, fittingly called the Lacquered earring while the Voice is a sterling silver nose and mouth clamped around a pearl. For those who prefer to adorn their fingers, the newest iteration consists of sterling silver with a lapis teardrop. To showcase these new designs, the brand headed to the secret home of Italian artist and architect Carlo Molino, who was a personal friend of Fini. With its lush and vivid interiors, it could not be a more fitting backdrop.
