Dior’s SoCal fragrance pop-up, Saint Laurent goes viral, and more.
Last week Dior Beauty released a delightful Studio Ghibili-esque animated video in honor of its Miss Dior fragrance and it turns out that the brand had more up its sleeve to celebrate the fragrance — at least if you live in Southern California. Taking over South Coast Plaza’s Plaza Jewel Court, the immersive experience is a fun way to beat the heat as the lazy days of summer wind down. Also in fun video news, Saint Laurent made quite a splash, slowly dropping a fall campaign starring Connor Storrie, Rosé, and Liu Wen over the course of several days, much to the delight of fans. And that’s not the only fall ads to come out this week as Dolce & Gabbana, Boucheron, and Proenza Schouler all released theirs, getting us excited for cooler weather ahead.
Read on to learn more and catch up on what else you might have missed.
Step Inside the House of Miss Dior
Pop-up alert! Dior Beauty has transformed South Coast Plaza’s stained-glass Jewel Court into The House of Miss Dior, a floral fantasy inspired by the Grasse Rose and Catherine Dior, Christian Dior’s beloved sister and the fragrance’s original muse. Open through August 31, the experience features an exclusive preview of the new short film starring Natalie Portman, an animated film tracing the perfume’s origins, and an interactive Olfactory Fitting Room. Naturally, there’s plenty to take home, too: guests can explore the full Miss Dior collection and personalize their picks with scented ribbons, hand engraving and live illustrations. If you’re anywhere near Costa Mesa, California, follow the flowers – they all lead to Miss Dior.
Dolce & Gabbana and Meisel Get Personal
It takes two to make Dolce & Gabbana – and apparently, three to capture its chemistry. The brand reunites with longtime collaborator Steven Meisel for the fall 2026 campaigns, exploring how identity shifts, sharpens and takes on new meaning when distinct personalities collide. It’s a fitting subject for a brand whose name merges two creative identities, photographed by someone who has helped shape their shared visual language since 1989. Across the women’s and men’s campaigns, models gossip and mingle dressed in the house’s unmistakable codes: Sicilian sensuality, black lace, sharp tailoring, knitwear, and denim. After nearly four decades together, it seems Dolce, Gabbana and Meisel still have undeniable chemistry.
Louis Vuitton Reinvents the Trunk
Celebrating the 130th anniversary of the Monogram has been a year-long affair for Louis Vuitton and next up is a moment to honor its trunk-making legacy. First, an anniversary campaign brings five historic designs to life through animated visuals, Sophie Fontanel’s narration, and playful illustrations set across Paris. Among them are the Malle Fleurs, originally created to deliver bouquets, and the Malle Secrétaire Stokowski, a complete mobile workspace designed for conductor Leopold Stokowski. Then, the celebration moves from past to future with a series of fantastical new creations by Pharrell Williams. Slicker than ever, the ocean-inspired High Trunks feature intricate leather seascapes, iridescent mother-of-pearl and sculpted chrome waves. Emblems of time, these trunks not only carry Louis Vuitton’s history but keep finding new places to take it.
A Question of Time
Luxury jewelers Boucheron is revisiting one of its past creations with a new campaign celebrating the legendary “Question Mark” necklace. First designed by Frédéric Boucheron in 1879, the claspless piece challenged the conventions of high jewelry, offering a new sense of freedom and ease in how one wore a necklace. The distinctive asymmetrical silhouette inspired its name, Point d’Interrogation, the French term for question mark. Now, more than 140 years later, the design still remains an iconic symbol for the brand.
Saint Laurent’s 80s Party
Conner Storrie is a dancing queen for Saint Laurent’s fall 2026 campaign. Starring alongside model Liu Wen and superstar singer Rosé, the Heated Rivalry star and newly minted brand ambassador, locks eyes with Talia Chetrit’s camera as he pulses to Milli Vanilli’s sultry 1988 hit “I’m Gonna Miss You”. Speckled with glimpses of a sharp pump or lacy mini, Anthony Vaccarello’s impressive cast adopts commanding characters you can’t quite look away from. It’s equal parts satisfying and teasing, just as Saint Laurent should be.
See Rachel Scott’s First Proenza Schouler Campaign
Debuting last New York fashion week, Proenza Schouler’s fall 2026 collection marks Rachel Scott’s debut as Creative Director and introduces a new take on the brand’s signature precision. Rejecting perfection in favour of something more instinctive, the pieces play with rumpled dresses, twisted silhouettes, soft tailoring and elongated proportions, creating looks that feel simultaneously polished and unpredictable. Night-orchid motifs and distorted accessories add a sense of controlled disruption, adding a human touch to structure. How does that translate into her first ad campaign? Scott takes the lead here, creative directing the imagery shot by Laura Marie Cieplik. Featuring models Mawena Takpa, Jessie Krish, Masha Silchenko, the trio embody the creative freedom and ease that is the new Proenza Schouler woman.
Issey Miyake Releases Urushi Body
After its debut on fall 2026 runway and being worn by the likes of Greta Lee, Issey Miyake is making their unique lacquered corsets and bustiers available for purchase. Molded to the figure, it’s aptly called Urushi Body and reflects the brand’s history of appreciation for the human form. Inspired by the obi, the sash worn on a kimono, these pieces are made by specialists based in the Echizen region of Fukui Prefecture who meticulously hand-tear large sheets of handmade washi paper and layer them with glue onto 3D-printed molds. Then, workers in Kyoto finish it off with coats of lacquer, giving it a solid texture and a glossy finish. These unique works of art will be available online and in-store starting in November. Priced around $9,000 it’ll come in deep red, black, dark blue, and white.
It’s All Love For Cadillac Racquet Club & Sporty and Rich
Just in time for the US Open, Cadillac and Sporty and Rich are coming together with a limited-edition collection. The two make sense — the former is a sponsor of the tournament while the latter has garnered a cult following for its approach to athletic-inspired attire. Aptly named Cadillac Racquet Club x Sporty & Rich, the eight piece collection draws from vintage tennis style and Americana, albeit through a distinctly modern lens. With a country club inspired palette in hues like white, navy, and dark green accented with signature crests, you’ll find everything from a hat to a hoodie to gym shorts to tees and crewnecks.
The Ultimate Experiences For Luxury Travelers Who Love Curation
Marriot’s The Luxury Collection, a series of boutique hotels with a rich history, is taking destination discovery beyond just where to stay with the launch of “Expeditions”, a new collection of immersive journeys designed to connect travellers with the people, traditions and cultures that shape each destination. From sushi-making with a fourth-generation master in Japan and classic-car road trips through Italy to private helicopter journeys across Greek islands, each experience offers an exciting, more personal way to explore when travelling. The collection features 10 guided trips spanning North America, Europe, Asia and the Caribbean, with more to follow this fall.
Haiden Ackerman’s Debut Canada Goose Collection
For the last two years Haiden Ackerman has served as Canada Goose’s Creative Director, with a focus on his Snow Goose collections. But now he turns his eye to the brand’s main collection, with fall 2026 being his debut. Titled “Second Nature”, it centers on how one experiences the cold winter months differently, depending on their personal experience. Featuring designs with a youthful twist you’ll find bright colors, retro graphics and prints that span knitwear, scarves, and of course, jackets made from fur-free materials. The majority of the pieces are available now, with the heavy duty gear slated for later this fall.
