Nensi Dojaka: Ready-To-Wear SS24

Nensi Dojaka knows how to dress a cool girl. Having opted out of this season’s London Fashion Week – citing a shift in focus away from the red carpet and toward the every day – the Albanian-born womenswear designer has just released a stripped-back spring/summer 2024 offering. Featuring 16 strap-tastic looks that draw on 1990s and early 2000s minimalism, the collection sees skin-tight bodysuits and crop-tops fitted to perfection.

Drawing on an understated colour palette of blacks, whites and silvers, the pieces feature the lingerie-centric subtleties that have become a recognisable aspect of the CSM grad’s design lexicon. Using material and texture to emphasise the sultriness of each piece, wet-look satin and mesh pop up frequently. A reminder that the Nensi Dojaka woman loves a good night out, sequinned dresses with barely-there spaghetti straps are also on offer. Primped and primed to be donned by an off-duty model, loose-fitting, low-slung jeans and high-waisted woollen trousers are scattered throughout. An element of dynamism is effortlessly integrated, with flowing see-through gowns and pleated georgette godets appearing to cascade into flared sleeves. A mini dress inspired by the silhouette of a jacket that can be fastened and unfastened as you wish is also introduced, making the transition from day to night even more seamless.
