The newest pieces are for chain fans.
Back at the end of 2022 Prada launched their first fine jewelry collection. Called Prada Eternal Gold, due to the fact that it consists of 100% recycled gold and made with responsible practices, it serves as a natural extension of other brand initiatives, namely Re-Nylon. Both lines are based on the premise of utilizing existing material, thereby lessening the environmental impact of making new pieces and reflect a concerted effort towards sustainability and social responsibility. The original launch featured an array of motifs ranging from ribbons to snakes to hearts, all with nods to the Prada’s signature triangular logo. One design detail that it didn’t have? Chains, which is the next iteration hitting stores now.
For the second iteration of Prada Eternal Gold, you’ll find more everyday pieces that center on the concept of chains. Besides necklaces and bracelets, there are also earrings and rings that take their inspiration from the motif. With two thicknesses available in the necklace, the styles can be worn as a pair or alone. Also to note: they can be combined with bracelets to form a longer design that wraps around the neck for extra drama. Classic and subtle enough for everyday wear, the pieces combine soft lines with geometric corners — a reflection on Prada’s propensity for mixing contradictions. Like in the prior launch, the logo makes a reappearance in the form of a clasp that can be worn to the front, side or back. To illustrate its versatility, the accompanying images feature the jewelry worn with delicate knits — the perfect fall combination. Available in 18k yellow gold, it can also be made upon request in white or rose gold as well. You can find the pieces either online or in stores now.
