Ralph Lauren: Ready-to-Wear SS25

For spring/summer 2025, Ralph Lauren treated us to more than just a fashion show; it was a journey to the Hamptons, Lauren’s “home away from home.” Guests (including First Lady Dr. Jill Biden, Jude Law, Laura Dern, Usher, and Tom Hiddleston) were shuttled to Bridgehampton’s Khalily Stables by car, helicopter, and Jitney, and upon arrival found themselves fully immersed in Lauren’s idyllic Americana.

The setting was picturesque: manicured green lawns, white fences, vintage convertibles, and meandering horses with their riders. As the late summer sun dipped towards the horizon, models took to the runway in more than 100 looks for Lauren’s Collection, Purple Label, and Polo lines.

It was Ralph Lauren’s love letter to East Coast chic, marrying the rugged elegance of the Hamptons with his signature sporty-yet-refined aesthetics: American Flag sweaters were paired with knit shorts and cargo pants, double-breasted blazers with distressed denim, a silk robe worn over a suit. The palette was pure Hamptons—blues and whites dominated, punctuated by shades of khaki and tan. For his Polo line, Lauren re-imagined spectator style via bold graphic patterns and vivid reds, greens, and yellows—a nod to the Hamptons’ storied equestrian history.

The season also celebrates a new handbag launch: The Ralph. Inspired by Lauren’s passion for automobiles, the structural bags feature hardware crafted from mixed polished metals and Radica wood, mimicking the interiors of vintage cars.

Following the show, guests were ushered into an outsized reproduction of Lauren’s beloved Polo Bar. The Manhattan restaurant’s maître d’ and waitstaff were in attendance, serving “Hamptons Spritzes,” local seafood, and, of course, burgers.

Lauren has become synonymous with American style the world over, so much so that he has dressed Team USA for the Olympics since 2008. In his show notes, Lauren describes the Hamptons as “more than a place. It’s a natural world of endless blue skies, the ocean, green fields, and white fences…It has been home, my refuge, and always an inspiration.” Even in his safe haven, Ralph Lauren knows how to put on a show.
