Solid Homme: Menswear AW25

For AW25, Solid Homme perfected the art of casual chic. Exploring the concepts of uniform and transformation, the collection rooted itself in the idea of a corporate wardrobe post 9-5. The clobber was formal with a relaxed edge, as loose-fitting ties and baggy silhouettes set a more nonchalant tone. Nodding to the experience of young urban professionals (or yuppies, as they’re more commonly known), the pieces were built to work across different environments and bridge the gap between day and night.

The setting for the show was the ‘Solid Jazz Club’, a low-lit set built to evoke a sense of after-hours hedonism. The colour palette of both the garments and the set was confident but not in your face, with rich reds, deep burgundy and royal blues coating the pieces with an understated sexiness. The luxury aspect found its feet in the fabrics. Creamy, opulent materials like satin, silk and velvet were utilised throughout, whilst weightier tweed and moleskin left the impression of longevity you would expect from pieces bought to last.

A well-balanced offering that embraced classic, work-ready silhouettes whilst maintaining the carefree spirit of who we are outside the office, Solid Homme AW25 is set to be a hit with the finance bros who like to have some fun.
