Solid Homme: Menswear SS25

For SS25, Solid Homme took us out of the big city and onto the beachside for a blissful, sartorially stunning hangout. Rooting the offering in the beauty of exploration, key design elements included industrial hiking gear paired with softer details like crochet and lightweight scarves. Intending to depart from traditional conventions, utilitarian shapes were given a sun-infused makeover.

Windbreakers and loose-fitting shorts were spattered with pockets-a-plenty and the influence of surfer culture saw airy, boxy button-ups shrugging off shoulders. Direct sportswear references were a regular occurrence, with protective eyewear and running vests accessorising a variety of different looks. Founder, CEO and head designer Woo Young Mi showcased her design prowess by incorporating adaptive qualities into the garments, whilst safari hats and multi-layered styling nodded to notions of practicality and versatility.
