Ten Looks: Hermes FW24

BACK IN THE SADDLE

A decade into her role as the artistic director of womenswear at Hermès, and Nadège Vanhee-Cybulski has really hit her stride. Her FW24 collection was presented as an ode to riding—be it on two wheels or four hooves. When it comes to luxe leather, who can really discern a biker from an equestrian anyway? For horse lovers, there were sumptuous buckled knee-high riding boots, an unmissable full red suit that would look oh so chic atop a trusty steed, and two-toned blazers with leather accents. Biker chicks, meanwhile, were treated to cropped jackets and Sixties-style leather skirts, with perfect leg-baring slits up the front. Vanhee-Cybulski interspersed the black with matching pieces in shades of cream, dark purple, and burnt red. Some coats had fur collars, while others were covered in spikes. Whatever your preferred mode of transport, these clothes are intended to have you riding off in style.
