Tiffany & Co. releases their high jewelry ads, Loewe and Loro Piana head to Asia, and more.

Spend any time on Tiktok this week and two fashion exhibits would have crossed your FYP. The first is Loewe’s jaunt to Tokyo, where artisans created a Studio Ghibli character out of pieces of the brand’s signature handbags for their Crafted World exhibition. The second? Loro Piana’s centennial retrospective at Shanghai’s Museum of Art Pudong that highlights their own history of craftsmanship. And speaking of craftsmanship, today marks the release of Tiffany & Co.’s high jewelry ad campaign, celebrating their most painstakingly intricate diamond creations including the show-stopping Shoot Star necklace that has an 18 carat center stone. Should that be a little outside your income bracket, there are plenty of new handbag releases from the likes of Dior, McQueen, and Miu Miu while sneaker fans should keep their eye on Louis Vuitton’s latest design, the Sneakerina.

Read on to learn more and catch up on what else you might have missed.

Tiffany & Co.’s High Jewelry is a Feast For the Eyes

True diamond fans know that nothing is more spectacular than a high jewelry collection. Consisting of the most elaborate and rarest pieces, these showstoppers require equally as memorable images. Case in point: today Tiffany & Co. launched their latest high jewelry campaign as shot by Carlijin Jacobs. Drawing from the Tiffany Style book by John Loring which features styles from the 1950s and 1960s as well as photos by Hiro, Jacobs takes on classics like the iconic Bird on a Rock brooch in addition to the newest watch that riffs on the signature design. The aptly named Bird on a Rock timepiece includes a diamond-encrusted bird motif that moves across the dial. And speaking of diamonds, from the Tiffany Céleste collection comes The Shooting Star necklace. With an emerald cut center stone that clocks in at 18 carats and a total of 857 gems weighing over 60 carats, the glittering creation is sure to be one for the history books.

Loewe Crafted World Goes to Tokyo

Speaking of exhibits in Asia, after debuting in Shanghai last year, Loewe’s Crafted World has landed in Tokyo’s Harajuku district. Offering an immersive journey through the brand’s 179-year history, it opens to the public on March 29th. Clocking in at 1,300 square meters with seven distinct spaces, the exhibition traces the brand’s journey from being the official supplier to the Spanish Royal family to its first store in Japan to its acquisition by LVMH, when creative director Jonathan Anderson transformed the label to its current iteration.  Born from the Hand is devoted to all things leather with the first editions of their signature bags like the Puzzle, Flamenco, and Amazona while Welcome to Spain showcases the brand’s home country with its traditions. The Atelier like its namesake gives visitors a chance to bring a creation to life from leather to assembly to the finished product.

Fans of the Loewe x Studio Ghibli collaboration will want to spend extra time in the Castle Room, with a two-meter high version of the Howl’s Moving Castle bag as the centerpiece. Made from pieces of the Hammock, Flamenco, Amazona bags among others, you might have caught a TikTok of workers assembling the playful creation. Next up is Fashion Without Limits which includes runway pieces alongside works of art from the Loewe collection.

The penultimate room, United in Craft, includes pieces from prior Salone del Mobile exhibits, Craft Prize finalists and winners including Tanabe Chikuunsai IV, Moe Watanabe, and Genta Ishizuka as well as a video featuring the Onishi family, who has been making Kama tea kettles for four centuries. Finally. Unexpected Dialogues are a series of five rooms that showcase the collaborators that have made Loewe memorable over the last decade. From Kyoto-based ceramicist Suna Fujita to Ken Price to C.F.A Voysey, it’s a visual feast for the eyes.

Of course before you leave, there’s also merch like thousands of stickers and a gift shop with exclusive products. Visitors can reserve a ticket here.

Meet McQueen’s T-Bar Sling Bag

During McQueen’s moody spring 2025 show that was an ode to the lore of the banshee, there was one accessory that was grounded in reality: the T-Bar Sling bag. Sleek and simple while also practical, the cross-body style is made from a singular piece of grained calf leather. With an asymmetrical silhouette, it’s meant to sit just so against the body. To give it a bit of shine, a T-bar buckle serves as a tough touch. In shades like sky blue and cloud gray, it’s the ideal warm weather accessory. And because no bag is complete without some charms, you’ll find small fringed leather ones that you can attach as a playful touch. Shop it here

Photo or Painting? Miu Miu Says It’s Both

No your eyes aren’t deceiving you, the latest Miu Miu campaign starring Gigi Hadid is meant to blur the lines between painting and photography. Shot by Steven Meisel, the images resemble classic high society portraiture seen during the 20th century as each photo gets digitally “painted” by hand after the fact. The result feels as if there are somehow brushstrokes in the picture, creating a surreal yet familiar scene. The purpose of said ad? It’s to highlight the brand’s matelassé, especially in its newest suede iteration as seen in their hit Wander and Arcadie handbags. After all, a tactile fabric calls for an equally sensory visual experience.

Dior Releases Their Signature Bucket Bag

Speaking of new handbags that are highly functional comes Dior’s latest design. The aptly named Signature Bucket bag is a handheld tote complete with an adjustable and removable shoulder strap. Made with a monogram canvas with leather inserts or as a monochromatic grained leather iteration, the design is sporty yet elegant and equally suitable for the office or the weekend. You’ll find it both small and medium, with both being roomy enough for everything you need. Check it out here.
