Depop is Hosting a Special Vintage DKNY Sale

Curated by 194 New York’s buyer, Sofia Pace, the 40-piece capsule is guaranteed to go fast.

Arguably one of the most iconic decades for New York fashion were the nineties. With the likes of Calvin Klein and DKNY gracing SoHo’s infamous billboard on Houston Street, the era was defined by brands that were equal parts minimal, sporty, and sexy with a dash of grunge. That influence lives on today. Case in point: DKNY is back with a limited-edition vintage capsule collection dropping on Depop tomorrow. Working with High Snobiety, the brand tapped 194 New York buyer Sofia Pace to curate a selection of pieces that call back to its heyday.

The timing makes sense — DKNY made a comeback this year with a slew of campaigns starring the likes of Kaia Gerber and Lila Moss. Couple that with the fact that the appetite for sourcing unique vintage pieces shows no signs of abating and you have a match made in heaven. For this collaboration, Pace chose 40 pieces, to recreate 12 archival-inspired looks from the era.  Some of the highlights include a Y2k-inspired red and white USA cropped tank that’s perfect for layering.  If you’re looking to release your rebellious inner child, the mesh zip-up acid wash shirt was made for you. And just in time for summer or festival season comes a crochet tank while those who like a matching set will want the moto skirt and jacket combo. As for the real DKNY heads, the SOLD OUT trousers, with an ultra-rare, unique print, will complete your vintage collection while transporting you back to the 90’s grunge era.

Under the shop name @DKNY, you can find the pieces on Depop, with prices ranging from $15 to $200. Expect it to sell out fast so set your alarms for 3pm tomorrow.
