Dior channels ’80s basketballer style with Jonathan Anderson’s latest sneaker design from the maison’s AW26 collection. Aptly titled the Dior Hooper, the silhouette is a modern reinterpretation of classic basketball sneakers, with that typical Anderson twist.
Constructed with a white canvas base and navy blue suede calfskin detailing, the show embraces the creative director’s commitment to reframing the house’s heritage through a modern lens, integrating its signature cannage pattern on the sole. The Hooper is a perfect extension of Dior’s burgeoning relationship with basketball, bolstered by the SS27 menswear show where Denver Nuggets forward Aaron Gordon and New York Knicks champion Jordan Clarkson were sat front row.
Playful, clean and the perfect balance between sporty and chic, the Hooper is fit for any occasion – on the court and off.
