A Shady Brunello Cucinelli Affair

They celebrated their latest eyewear collaboration with EssilorLuxottica in Rome.

Brunello Cucinelli does not do things by halves so when it comes to celebrating their newest styles with EssilorLuxottica, Rome was the only logical answer. Imagine the perfect Italian location, Villa Aurelia, overlooking the Eternal City. Then throw in that glorious Roman sunset, add in a line-up of the prettiest models including Karolina Kurkova, Toby Huntington Whiteley and Mark Vanderloo, and you have the ideal setting to showcase 14 new frames.

The launch of these new styles is part of a 10 year licensing agreement that started in November 2022 — a testament to the shared vision of luxury and sophistication embodied by the both brands. The camaraderie between Brunello Cucinelli and Leonardo Del Vecchio, the founder of EssilorLuxottica, has blossomed into a friendship characterized by warmth and respect. At its core, this collaboration is a celebration of the timeless allure of Italian craftsmanship. From the meticulous design process to the execution, every aspect of this collaboration reflects a shared commitment to excellence.

The collection consists of 5 sections. Multimeterico features five sunglasses and two optical styles and combines metal and acetate, innovation and tradition. Trama has two styles inspired by Brunello’s high jewelry collection while Stemma embodies the highest manufacturing expertise in the eyewear world. Pattern highlights the brand’s handmade creations as inspired by Solomeo’s coat of arms. And finally there’s Gemmae which is designed for women who embody understated elegance — very iconic Brunello! Shop it now here or find it in select stores on May 1st.
