Louis Vuitton Names Lisa as House Ambassador

Fitting, since she name drops the brand on Rockstar.

Lisa stans, the moment is here: Louis Vuitton has named the Thai-born singer and member of K-pop band Blackpink as their latest House Ambassador. For fans, the clues were always there. From appearing front row at the brand’s fall 2024 show last March to wearing the brand at the likes of Coachella and Formula One Monaco Grand Prix, Lisa was leaving a trail of hints at her newest endorsement for months. The ultimate sign of her impending deal? Name dropping LV in Rockstar, her latest single as a solo artist and the first released under her management company LLOUD Co. in conjunction with RCA Records.

Working with Louis Vuitton makes sense — the luxury brand has been quick to sign on idol talent whether it’s the boy band RIIZE, actor Gong Yoo, or girl group Le Sserafim. “[Lisa] has a daring spirit and charisma that I find incredibly compelling. She is as bold and creative with her music as she is with her fashion, and it is a privilege to accompany her on this journey,” says Nicolas Ghesquière, Louis Vuitton Artistic Director of Women’s Collections via the press release. And for Lisa, who is a self-proclaimed fashion lover (see Netflix’s Blackpink: Light Up the Sky for proof), joining LV is equally as exciting. “I feel so honored to be working with such a great brand that I admire so I’m really looking forward to making greater moments with Louis Vuitton,” she says in the announcement video.

The women of Blackpink are no stranger to luxury endorsements, with Jennie having a deal with Chanel while Rosé works with Saint Laurent and Jisoo having a connection to Dior. As for Lisa, she was previously a Celine ambassador in addition to her representing Bulgari. This announcement comes at a pivotal time for the singer as she’s also slated to star in the third season of HBO’s White Lotus. Between her new music and upcoming role, expect to see a lot of her in the upcoming year. And given that Louis Vuitton usually makes a showing at the Met Gala, it stands to reason that she’ll be making her way up those steps come that first Monday in May 2025, soundtracked by the screams of her many fans.
