His fall/holiday show showcased classic tailoring and red carpet glamor.
On Monday night, Ralph Lauren presented his fall/holiday 2024 collection to a small group of celebrities, friends, family, and some very lucky editors at his private design studio in New York. With notable guests like Glen Close, Jessica Chastain, Kerry Washington and more, no one draws out the stars quite like he does. As for the show, it was reminiscent of the first collection he presented in 1972. And like the 70s, the woman Lauren designs for is still as stylish and elegant as ever. The clothes were classic Ralph Lauren and today, there is nothing more alluring than being in a part of his richly textured and luxurious world. It had all the iconic styles from tweed tailoring to tuxedo to luscious cashmere. The stand outs? For us, it was the red carpet worthy gowns. It was a reminder that whether made from bias cut silk or fully embellished, clad in a gown of his creation will make anyone feel like a Hollywood icon.
Post show, the guests all strolled down Fifth Avenue to the most sought after reservations in the city — dinner at The Polo Bar. What a treat, a show and a dinner. What more do you want from a perfect New York night?
