10 Things to Talk About

1) A GRAND DEBUT:

HERMES

If you ever needed to remove your Apple Watch for dressier occasions in favor of a different timepiece, swap no longer. The newest addition to the Hermès roster is the Grand H, the brand’s first metal band. Made with interlocking links of satin-finished stainless steel and featuring two H-shaped links, it has all of the chic appeal of a bracelet-style watch with all the functionality you’ve come to expect from the tech giant. hermes.com

2) HEART TO HEART:

BVLGARI

What could be more fitting for the Year of the Snake than a Bvlgari Serpenti bag? In honor of the celestial animal and as a nod to their signature emblem comes the Serpenti Cuore 1968, designed by Mary Katrantzou. As the name implies, it resembles two halves of a heart, with one side the bag and the other the sinuous handle inspired by the brand’s 1968 Harlequin jewelry watch. It’s a love letter to Rome’s finest, available in calf leather in an array of hues as well as a sparkly evening option.

3) GIRLHOOD REVISITED:

PETIT BATEAU X MIUMIU

A Miu Miu runway show is always full of surprises, and this past October included not only the runway debut of Nicole Kidman’s daughter Sunday Rose, but also a collaboration with the beloved French brand Petit Bateau. The two labels teamed up on a bodysuit, T-shirt, tank top, and knickers, all finished with delicate picot-embroidered logos in navy and true red. These nostalgic classics are easy everyday basics.

4) SCORPIOS RISING:

SCORPIOS

The fans of Mykonos’s famed Scorpios beach club can now add Bodrum, Turkey, to their list of must-visit destinations. Founders Thomas Heyne and Mario Hertel have expanded to the idyllic municipality on the country’s famed Turquoise Coast. Consisting of 12 elegant bungalows, the quiet and secluded getaway focuses on community and wellness, with activities ranging from guided meditations to sound baths to interactive art and music experiences. scorpios.com

5) SO PRECIOUS:

CARTIER

Sunglasses aren’t necessarily the first thing that comes to mind when you think of Cartier, but who else can transform a pair of frames into jewelry? The Clash de Cartier Eyewear Precious style features oval lenses with onyx and diamonds, trimmed in 30.5 grams of gold. The future is bright indeed. cartier.com

6) A NEW ICON:

CHANEL

Seventy years after Chanel first created the 2.55 bag, a new design takes the brand’s signature details and updates them. Aptly called the Chanel 25, it features quilted leather, a braided chain, and plenty of pockets. Whether it’s a slot for your credit cards or smartphone that you need, gone are the days of having to rummage around for necessities. Also, note that a gusset at the base helps expand it should you need more room, while a shoulder strap makes it comfortable to carry.

7) BIKER BABE:

LOUIS VUITTON

At Louis Vuitton’s spring 2025 show, models emerged on an elevated runway designed to resemble a series of trunks as a nod to the brand’s history of travel. This reference point also inspires their latest bag, the Biker, a roomy leather carryall with side straps and buckles drawn from the enclosures of said trunks. Available in three sizes, it’s easily collapsible, making it a stylish and functional everyday option. louisvuitton.com

8) THEMES AND VARIATIONS:

GUCCI

As a nod to Gucci’s history in silks, the brand is launching The Art of Silks. The partnership teams nine artists worldwide to reinterpret five iconic themes from the archive: Flora, GG pattern, Horsebit, Nautical, and Animalier. From the
minds of Americans Robert Barry and Everett Glenn to China’s Currynew and South Korea’s Inji Seo, and more, the colorful creations breathe new life into the classic designs. Can’t get your hands on a foulard? Don’t worry: there’s also a commemorative book being published by Assouline, curated by Jo-Ann Furniss, that dives deeply into the craftsmanship behind the scarves. gucci.com

9) LET’S TWIST AGAIN:

PRADA

Eagle-eyed fans were quick to spot an IYKYK moment on the Prada spring 2025 runway as Mrs Prada brought back archival styles, albeit with a twist. The crested sandals, first seen in fall/winter of 2008, were reimagined into pink and blue kitten heels. Loafer lovers will want the spring/summer 1999 version, with a steel logo detail on the tongue. And finally, those pointy satin pumps from spring/summer 2004 have been given a bit of a metallic finishing touch in the form of a silver metal toe cap. prada.com

10) PEARLS OF WONDER:

TIFFANY & CO.

After launching Tiffany Titan by Pharrell Williams in May 2024, the two are back with their third collection, highlighting the wonders of Tahitian pearls. Featuring pieces that utilize 11mm to 12mm pearls, which are larger than the norm, the five unique styles include a statement necklace, a bracelet, a pendant, earrings, and a ring. Set in either rose or yellow gold, with a healthy smattering of diamonds, the unisex creations reflect Williams’s innate sense of cool. tiffany.com
