10 Things You Might Have Missed This Week: Menswear Moments

Louis Vuitton goes Ivy League, Dior launches Diorling, and more.

With the lazy days of August in full swing and Europe on vacation, sorry, holiday for the month, this week has been a bit of a hodgepodge of moments with menswear taking centerstage. Case in point: just as Dior reopened their New York City flagship, we’re also getting the first trickling of Jonathan Anderson-designed pieces hitting online and stores, with the release of Diorling. With its shirt, ties, and jackets, it’s giving back to school energy. And that’s fitting because Louis Vuitton’s spring summer 2026 also has a similar feel, as Pharrell Williams looks to Ivy League style to inform his global dandy. And what would a modern dandy be without some solid sneakers? Prada has new colorways of their highly coveted Collapse as well as their Montecarlo styles while J.Crew and Vans are making the ultimate summer canvas kicks, with a new iteration of the skater’s Authentic design.

Read on to learn more and catch up on what else you might have missed.

Louis Vuitton Goes Ivy

After reimagining journeys from Paris to Miami and taking a jaunt to the English countryside, Pharrell Williams’ global dandy is getting in the back-to-school spirit. For Louis Vuitton’s spring summer 2026 capsule collection, Williams reimagines Ivy League style, a perennial favorite since Take Ivy first brought Northeastern prep to the masses. Blending classic collegiate styles with British heritage tailoring, the trans-seasonal collection features staples like varsity jackets, rowing-inspired knits, and monogrammed tailoring. From suede Speedy bags to rugby ball-shaped pochettes, the accessories nod to campus life in a fresh new way.

The Newest Bottega Veneta Bag is a Revamped Archival Revival

We’d like to imagine the Bottega Veneta archives as a Willy Wonka-style dreamland, full of beautifully woven handbags in all shapes and sizes. And perhaps that fantasy isn’t too far off, as their latest release, the Campana, fits that exact description. Drawing from a style that first debuted in Spring 2004 (timely, given the Y2K nostalgia!), the roomy tote features two handles and a rounded shape. Available in both smooth nappa leather as well as the brand’s signature intrecciato, the latter uses 15mm wide strips that give it a sense of suppleness and fluidity. Available in classic hues like black, white, and brown, there’s also a wildcard purple bag, for those who like a little flair. Shop it here.

It’s Dior, Darling

Speaking of the archives, Dior’s newest capsule collection also goes back into the history books. Called Diorling, a play on darling, the name refers to a fragrance that launched in 1963 as well as a line that first debuted in England, also in the late 60s. The 2025 iteration under Jonathan Anderson’s creative direction? A series of summer-friendly pieces from denim to tees to a sweatshirt and pullover, all bearing the cursive logo. You’ll also find accessories to round out your look from ties and card holders to caps, and even a pair of exclusive B33 sneakers. Find it in stores now.

A Glittering Gucci Addition

Gucci is expanding their iconic Horsebit collection with a new selection of jewellery, reimagining their equestrian-inspired emblem. Crafted in yellow or white gold with diamond accents, the collection includes necklaces, bracelets, rings, and earrings that honor the legacy of the motif, first sketched in the 1940s. From diamond-studded ear cuffs to gold chokers, this latest evolution of the line continues to celebrate the iconic look of the brand’s roots in horse riding.

Schiaparelli’s Delicious New Soufflé

First introduced during Schiaparelli’s spring 2025 show, for fall the brand has new iterations of their Soufflé bag. Reimagined by Daniel Roseberry, the slouchy, lightweight hobo returns with its signature rounded shape and hammered brass anatomy hardware. Available in black and brown with intricate studded detailing or a sleek taupe suede, the spacious design combines the brand’s signature surreal touches but grounds them in practical reality. Consider this a fall workhorse that offers a distraction from the day to day. Shop it here.

Prada’s Updating Their Sneaker Lineup

By the looks of the latest Lyst Index report, one the most desirable designer sneakers of the moment is Prada’s Collapse re-nylon and suede sneakers. First introduced earlier this year, they’re a lightweight design with plenty of flexibility. And now they’re available in three new shades: lime green, light blue, and cloudy gray. Prefer something with a teensy bit more heft? The brand’s Montecarlo design, which came out in 2005 as a part of their Linea Rossa collection and is inspired by driving shoes, also has some new shades. Rendered in three shades of suede, black, brown, and gray, the lightweight and sleek sneakers make for a welcome addition to your fall wardrobe.

Canada Goose is Ready For the Seasonal Shift

We might have a full month of summer left but fall, with its unpredictable temperatures looms. The latest drop from Haider Ackermann’s Snow Goose by Canada Goose is made for those fickle autumn days with a slew of outerwear made for adventure as well as workwear-inspired pieces. Highlights include the Zenith, an oversized tee in an array of colors as well as the Zephyr jacket, a windbreaker with vented underarms for maximum comfort. Another standout is the Valour parka, unlined for warmer temperatures. And for those looking for hiking-friendly bottoms the Vapor pants are a three-layer convertible style that can zip off and turn into shorts, ideal for chilly mornings that turn into hot middays. J.Crew and Vans Made a Sneaker

What could be more quintessentially summer than a pair of canvas sneakers? Vans, along with J.Crew came together to reimagine the Authentic, a style that was originally known as the #44 Deck Shoe and dates back to the skater label’s early days. The 2025 version takes archival details and adds a few updates in the form of cushy soles designed to relieve fatigue as well as more durable cotton. “When I started skateboarding as a kid, I dreamed of California. I loved Vans and got a custom pair of Authentics in 4th grade” say Brendon Babenzien, J.Crew Men’s Creative Director via the press release. The nostalgic favorites, which are available in unisex sizing can be found online and in stores now.

Beyoncé Enters Her Denim Era With Levi’s

While Beyoncé might be hinting that the Cowboy Carter era is over in favor of a rock album, she’s not saying goodbye to Westernwear just yet. Along with Levi’s, the two launched a denim collection. Naturally titled BEYONCÉ X LEVI’S, it features a 90-second campaign film directed by the superstar’s longtime collaborator Melina Matsoukas and features an exclusive edit of her hit, “Levi’s Jeans.” As for the pieces themselves, there are seven styles, each available in three washes. Western Crystal, like its name implies, is a glittery take on the ‘90s shrunken trucker jacket, the 501 curve jeans, and the 501 ‘90s cut while Laced Up adds intricate details to the jacket and the 501 curve. And for those who like a more subdued touch, the Authentic Finish will be a chance to get a touch of Beyonce in your life.
