Celine Lands on Rodeo Drive

THE NEWEST FLAGSHIP BRINGS FASHION, FRAGRANCE AND FINE ART TOGETHER UNDER ONE ROOF.

Rodeo Drive is getting an upgrade, Celine-style. Opened back on August 14th, the brand’s newest LA flagship takes over more than 5,500 square feet at 309 Rodeo Drive. More than an enviable new address, the new location folds Celine’s entire universe into two spectacular floors. It might just be Rodeo Drive’s most luxurious new reason to go shopping.

Women’s and men’s ready-to-wear? Check. Leather goods, accessories, and silks? Naturally. Haute Parfumerie, Beauté, and Maison lines? Couldn’t miss them. The real hook, though: the exclusive offerings. Rodeo Drive carries its own iterations of the Nino, Luggage, and Frame bags, reworked in precious leathers you won’t find anywhere else. Traveling to LA and need a one of a kind, luxurious souvenir? Look no further.

But really, the store itself may still be the real reason to visit. Warm Oyster Calacatta marble sets the tone, offset by antique bronze shelving, floor-to-celing mirrored panels and vintage wooden furniture. The space is monumentally Californian, but with a distinctly Parisian touch. Its coolest detail might be the bespoke speaker installation by Mateo Garcia. Designed specifically for the flagship, it doubles as a functional sound system and sculptural centerpiece. Even the store’s soundtrack, it seems, needed to be glamorous.

Head upstairs and the mood shifts. The mezzanine is home to private salons that trade grandeur for intimacy; laid in aged oak chevron flooring, once inside you are transported straight to a Haussmannian apartment. Now, we have to give credit where credit is due: fashioning a 5,500 square foot flagship to appear even remotely welcoming is no small feat, yet with this one, Celine comes remarkably close.

And then, of course, there’s the art, because at Celine, it could never be an afterthought. Works by Jean Fautrier, Andy Warhol, David Armstrong, and Kai Nielsen are displayed throughout, making a visit feel somewhere between a shopping trip and a gallery crawl. They don’t just hang on the walls; they shape the space itself. Set against marble, mirrors, clothing and furniture, each piece becomes part of the atmosphere, quietly defining the world around it.

The finished flagship is sleek, intimate, and where there is something worth seeing at every turn. On a street with fashion’s biggest names, Celine has created one that gives you a genuine reason to step inside – and plenty of reasons to stay for a while.
