We celebrated with Nordstrom plus some special guests.
It is official: We’re pleased to say our transatlantic journey to the US is a success as our first issue has hit the stands. And there’s no better way to celebrate than during the peak of New York fashion week with a cheeky cocktail followed by a family style dinner. The 10 USA teamed up with our good pals at Nordstrom last night to do just that at the legendary Chelsea Hotel.
Friends and loved ones such as Senior Vice President of Creative Merchandising at Nordstrom Olivia Kim, entrepreneur & stylist Beverly Nguyen, and designer Andre Walker to name a few came by during a very hectic evening to help us raise a glass. Dora Fung, our leading force, our Editor in Chief, welcomed everyone with open arms bouncing around the evening bubbling with excitement. “It was such a labor of love putting the magazine together and to be able to celebrate it with collaborators and friends tonight is so special. I could not have asked for a better co-host than Olivia Kim from Nordstrom, she is such an OG icon!,” she says.
Alongside Fung, our Global Editor-in-Chief Sophia Neophitou-Apostolou was in the midst of exclaiming how proud she was when Zac Posen un-ironically came beaming into the room with a cake he had picked up to commemorate the moment.
In the hustle and bustle of NYFW everyone was keen to share our launch with us but also to get a moment to chit chat on their highlights of the week so far and their next fashion stops being in London, Milan or Paris, or even all three. Read on to hear from them and see images from the evening.
