World Cup fever isn’t coming for America—it’s already here. And this time, it’s personal.

For the first time ever, the expanded tournament will bring a staggering 104 matches to 16 cities across the United States, Canada, and Mexico — a continent- sized spectacle that has the US at its pulsing heart. The terraces are calling, the kits are crisp, and the energy is reaching a fevered pitch.
Enter the new Nike US uniform: it’s sleek, modern, and unapologetically bold. It’s the kind of jersey built for a star turn on the world’s stage—whether that’s made scoring goals on the field or cheering players on from the stands. We pulled midfield superstar Tyler Adams and defensive powerhouse Antonee Robinson into our studio alongside a pair of models to put Nike’s mix of technical prowess and sporty finesse to the test. The result? A reminder that soccer style doesn’t stop at the final whistle. It’s there in the walk to the stadium, the chanting from the stands, the post-game drink with friends, and, most of all, the memories made.
“It’s an honor to play at a World Cup regardless of the venue,” Robinson tells us. “But being one of only a few to do it in my home country would truly be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. I hope the team can make history and does well enough to blast the popularity of soccer in the US through the roof.”
That’s the big hope for this tournament: to not just lift the trophy (though that would be great), but cement soccer’s cultural ascent in the States. A generation raised on Premier League mornings and Champions League afternoons is now getting its own global stage – and on home turf.
And if it doesn’t go the American team’s way? Robinson grins. “If we don’t win, I hope the most exciting team to watch wins it. Someone like Spain or France.” Fair enough.
Still, with the World Cup poised to be the talked-about global sporting event of the year, it’s about more than goals or slick kits. It’s about packed stadiums from coast to coast. It’s about kids in fresh jerseys believing this is their sport too. It’s about proving that the beautiful game has officially found its American accent. We’re lacing up. We’re leaning in. And we’re rooting for you, boys.
